ROACHES!!! a co-worker and I were sitting in the back of the restaurant, next to the KITCHEN, and on the wall there was a small bug that freaked me out, but I just squished with my napkin, then no more than 10 minutes later here comes this HUMUNGOUS ROACH crawling up the wall next to our table! Of course we freaked out and told the waitress in the front and she merely said "oh no"! WHAT? just "oh no"? AND THEN as we were telling the waitress in the front the waiter rudely bumped into me almost knocking me over! Excuse me for being inconsiderate for letting you know, and the rest of the people dining there that you have a roach problem! I let the baby bug go because it could have easily come from outside, BUT i am NOT letting a ROACH go without me saying something! for there to be roaches means that the overall environment is DISGUSTING! I will say that the food is to die for, but not so much to die for a ROACH! never coming...
Read moreHaven't been here since before the pandemic, 2020. Back then I would've rated this restaurant with 4 stars. My diet has since become 85% vegetarian and so the veggie versions of my favorite dishes played a huge factor in my current rating. The tom yum soup was a major disappointment -- too sweet and very little to no taste of lemongrass. Their panang curry was soupy rather than being a thick curry sauce, but at least it was still flavorful. The only meat dish I ordered was the chicken pad ka prao (chicken stir fried with veggies, chili and basil). It had more ground chicken (95%) than veggies, but still tasty. Their brown rice is still very good. They mixed up my phone order and gave me an eggplant dish instead of the veggie egg rolls I wanted. I don't care for eggplant so that's literally $$ in the trash. Make sure they hear your order correctly if...
Read moreThis is a cute little spot in PT Richmond. I have come here a few times and have always had a good meal and their portions are fair. They close at 8:30 but still took us in at 8:20, which we really appreciated. One of the reasons we like this place is because they can prepare most items GF. We ordered 2 Thai Iced Teas, Papaya Salad (Laous style) (but I have also gotten the Thai style), Green Curry with Shrimp and String Beans with Shrimp. For dessert we ordered the coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice. In the past I have ordered the Tamarind Prawns, some sort of fried ribs, angle wings, Tom Kha and the Pumpkin Curry. All items I enjoyed, except for the ribs. They just weren't for me. I have also been here once for lunch and they do have lunch specials which is nice. If you happen to be around the area, definitely stop in and...
