Nouveau Provisions — Restaurant in Richmond

Exceptional spot for pizza and wine. We got the Betty White and Chateau La Mothe for the happy hour deal ($20 for both!) and each was delicious. The pizza dough is outrageously crisp, chewy, and charred, and the wine was just the right amount of dry and inviting. Great music played loud enough for ambiance but not so loud you can’t hear each other talking. The owner and staff were really welcoming and warm.

Spent the weekend in Richmond on a discovery trip and stumbled upon Nouveau Provisions around 6 pm on Saturday night. What a lovely surprise! We were hoping to have some bubbly to celebrate a big anchievement and Trevor was quick with thoughtful suggestions that were delicious. We could not resist the lemon tarte. Fabulous wine/pizza bar in a cozy, beautiful setting. A large and varied selection of wines with knowledgeable staff to guide you in selections. Pizzas are delicious as is the charcuterie tray.
