Day two of the Air Force Cycling Team’s Memorial to Memorial (M2M) ride ends in Richmond, and today, after 107 miles on the bike, I was ravenous. I searched the area around the hotel and saw a lot of options but took a shot on Richmond Shawarma and Falafel… in a word: unbelievable. The service was friendly, quick, and excellent. And the food was better than I ever had in Egypt or Israel. These are the best shawarma sandwiches that I’ve ever had anywhere. Delicious meat. Wonderful sauces. Fresh veggies. Ridiculously good wraps. On a whim, I ordered two (one for breakfast before we roll out). The second was the falafel, and my god… it’s the best falafel I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back next year for another couple wraps.
This is a MUST visit restaurant. I don’t leave many reviews, but I had to tell the world about this place.
Cheers, fellas! And I’ll see you...
Read moreThe food was fantastic—everything was fresh and flavorful. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the tabouli stood out with its bright, well-balanced flavor. Their garlic sauce was also a highlight—perfectly creamy and paired really well with the meat and rice.
Yousef, the owner, served me and was super friendly and welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in both the food and the service. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality.
If you’re in Richmond and craving Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food, this place is a must-try. Great service, great food—I’ll definitely be...
Read moreThe food was incredible! Ordered a lamb and beef sandwich and shish touk platter. Portions were huge, so much meat in both. We had the shish touk leftovers for breakfast the next day! The garlic sauce is a must - especially with the French fries. We had to wait a bit for our order but they were slammed during a busy convention weekend, and were still so polite and friendly (and apologetic about the wait!). Definitely look forward to coming back when I’m...
