We went here for dinner before a concert at the Ridgefield Playhouse. As it’s a short walk to the restaurant we parked and walked down to the restaurant. The service was excellent, very personable and efficient. My companion had eggs and bacon while I had the cheeseburger deluxe, typical diner food. It came out quickly and was served hot. Had dinner here and the waiter couldn't speak or understand English.Its pretty common these days We had to point to the pictures in the menu and still didn't get it right. It's always nice when your server asks if everything is ok after you get your food but that didn't happen. Best diner in Ridgefield. Actually, it may be the only diner but either way, their breakfast and lunch is generous, homemade and delicious. Service is friendly and quick but we never felt rushed. The decor is nicer than average for a diner. On second visit, we found the same fast, friendly service and excellent food.
