V.Thai — Restaurant in Ridgefield

We went here to get our Sunday brunch coz we always choose thai restaurants whenever we want something fast and refreshing food but unfortunately the experience we got was terible, the server wasnt attentive, he gave us just two sets of plates and utensils when there is four of us and we keep on asking him to bring us another set but he always forgets. I dont know if he is new but theres not a lot of people its only us and some whos picking up their orders for take out. We ordered Tom yum(shrimp is still raw), Pad Thai(noodles were difficult to chew), green curry(coconut sauce is too overpowering i cannot taste the green curry anymore), spring rolls and shaking beef and of course we need to keep reminding the server about the rice that comes with it. We are not going back to this restaurant and i cannot recommend it either too bad coz thai cuisine is our favorite and theres not a lot of thai...

We love the food from V. Thai and now, during Covid, either pick some up or have it delivered about once a week. We like spicy and our favorites are the Drunken Noodles with big pieces of white meat chicken, Beef Pad Prik King, Spicy Sauted Chicken with Eggplant. As a (non-spicy) salad we get Pirates Surprise which is a delicious and subtle mixture of ground shrimp and chicken with peanuts, rice noodles, lettuce and other yummy stuff. V.Thai is an absolute treasure, offering an amazing mix of vietnamese and thai dishes. The pho and the whole fried fish were out of this world—so flavorful and perfectly cooked! Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The ambiance is relaxed and cozy, making it a great place for a family meal or a night out. The owners were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Even my picky kids loved the food, which is a rare win!
