Fletch’s Bagels & Cafe — Restaurant in Ridgefield

Very tasty bagels. I appreciate them not skimping on the lox. Everything bagel is very well seasoned on the top and bottom of the bagel. The skin on the bagel is quite good. I’m looking forward to trying the various sandwiches. I wish them luck. It’s a tricky location but hopefully word of mouth will do it. Good luck guys!

Update on 6/6/24: It was great last time and even better this time. I was greeted by the owner, Fletch, a very friendly guy. The place is super clean and it was another gorgeous and delicious lox and salmon bagel. The coffee is also a cut above everyone else in town. The thing I appreciate the most here is the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere....

The bagels are great, but the service and ordering process need serious improvement. If you walk in and there’s even a small line, expect to wait 10–15 minutes for a single bagel. The issue lies in how orders are handled—everything funnels through the same queue, creating unnecessary delays. A simple solution: separate the workflow. Bagels should be prepared by a dedicated staff member, while more complex orders like sandwiches should be handled by someone else. This place is awesome. My fiancée and I stopped here after my wedding make up trial for a tasty bite and man did they deliver. Not one, but two fried eggs on our breakfast sandwiches, toasted in butter, eggs perfectly cooked oozing out, incredible bagels- soft, toasted and flavorful- and of course had to try the Rueben hot dog (wrapped in bacon, topped with corned beef, Russian dressing and sauerkraut).
