Yesterday I had the displeasure of visiting the Ridgeland, MS Krystal, and I would urge patrons to seek other restaurant options before having to deal with some of the worst customer service available. For some context, I came to pick up an order meant to serve a group of girls in a local children's home. The order was roughly 97 dollars, and I was handling the pick-up for a friend. The order was placed on Thursday, so the restaurant had notice about the order. I went through the drive-through and the person taking orders had a rude tone when I pulled up to the order area. Originally she told me my order had already been picked up. She would not let me finish my sentence. Then once I cleared up my order, she shared that her system did not have my order listed. I then asked if I could show her the order information and how I was confused about how we received a confirmation, but she did not have any information on the order. I was told that there was nothing she could do (though I am sure the correct response is there is nothing she WOULD do) to try to address the issue. As I tried to ask questions about what I could show her to prove the order was placed, whether was there anything that could be done, etc. she became increasingly more hostile. She stated that she felt like I was saying the same thing over and over, but I was trying to understand what could be done. I had a room full of teenage girls expecting lunch, and a friend who is out 97 dollars. I did not want to argue, I wanted to find a solution and make sure she understood key information like the order was placed in advance, that I was not a 3rd party delivery service (because she was telling me to contact who we ordered through... but that was on the Krystal's online ordering system), and to generally make sure I knew how to tell my friend how to get the food or refund she would be owed if I did not receive the order. The lady I spoke with ended the conversation with, "You are saying the same thing over and over, I told you what to do (which was to contact who I ordered through... which again was Krystal's online), and the conversation is over, you have a great day ma'am." At this point, it was clear she did not intend to help me and I still had my obligations to take care of. So I went and spent 85 more dollars to purchase food for the girls, and when I was almost to the event, I received a call from my friend saying Krystal's said the order was ready. This was roughly 20 minutes after I left the store. I explained that I already tried to pick up the order and how bad my experience had been, but she requested that I please go back because she was afraid that she would lose the money and food since the people at the store were not being very helpful. From my understanding, the woman was still unkind when dealing with my friend (who is a woman who spent years as a missionary in case you are wondering if she would have spoken to the employee in a foul tone.) Ultimately, the employee told my friend that she owed no apologies for her behavior and tone because if she doesn't have an order in her system, then it won't get made and she does not care what a receipt says. To conclude the story, I picked up the food, but I could tell that I was dealing with another employee. I don't know if she was having a bad day, thought I was trying to get one over on her, or what, but I must say I am incredibly disappointed. I have held many jobs of varying degrees of pleasantness and difficulty, and never once did I treat a customer, client, or student with such hostility. To spend almost 100 dollars and be told "Oh well you go figure this out, it's your problem" is astounding. There was a total lack of even basic customer service, and because of her unwillingness to try to check or do anything on her end, I was then out 85 more dollars. I know this is a long story, but I want to make sure that people have a complete picture of the service they may receive, especially if they try to use the online...
Read moreIf I could leave a 0 star review I would. I went to this Krystals at 1 in the morning and they don’t close until 2 in the morning. I drove up to the speaker and no one said anything. I then drove to the windows and no one was there and I didn’t see anyone inside, so I drove back around to the speaker and someone finally asked for my order. I asked for 6 krystals and they said they were out of Krystals and that they were about to close. I asked them why they didn’t have any Krystals when they still had an hour left until closing. The lady didn’t say anything. So I asked if she could put the Krystals on the grill and she had an attitude the whole time about it. She then coughed in the speaker and told me to drive to the second window. My personal opinion is that they were smoking weed the first time I went through and that’s why I didn’t see anyone and when she did finally say something to me she was coughing. I will never go back here. Honestly every Krystal I have been to in the last year has been an awful experience so don’t waste your time. I ended up just leaving and going to Waffle...
Read moreShorted my sausage bites from my order and overcooked the eggs. 6/18/23-Well here I am again. It won't let me leave a new review so I'll just add to the old one. I placed a delivery order for 2 of their 'roadie'-size teas and called to ask for an extra cup of ice. They said I could have a small cup of ice per drink. They made the drinks with NO Ice, so I ended up with less ice than if I hadn't called. Iced tea is much better if it actually has ice to make it cold. And that low-carb bowl thing was about half the size of what's pictured and they didn't include anything to eat it with. To top things off, it took them half an hour to make my order. And they still need to learn what an 'over-easy'...
