Chicken had a lot of fatty/springy pieces in it, they forgot the extra sauce and the portion of fries was very small compared to what I get at other locations.
Update: Gave this location another try and they messed up our order three times. I asked for 2 three finger combos, 3 extra Texas toasts, 4 extra sauces, a root beer, sweet tea and an Arnold palmer. The guy had me rung up for $27... Something didn't add up so I asked him to read it back to me at the cashier window. He had me down for 3 combos, 2 Texas toasts, 2 extra sauces, two sweet teas and a root beer. I repeated my order to him and had him change it. I paid the amount, checked the receipt just to see (too late) that he didn't get the root beer. I go to the window and the lady hands me two sweet teas. I tell her she forgot the Root beer and the Arnold palmer, she hands me a Root beer, ANOTHER sweet tea and my food. I pull to the side to make sure my order was correct (this location makes mistakes every time I come here) and low and behold, it isn't. They forgot my 3rd Texas toast and I had three sweet teas and NO Arnold Palmer. At this point they messed up my order three times, and I was clear and patient with staff the whole time. I parked and went in with my receipt to tell them that I needed an Arnold Palmer and another Texas toast because the drive thru workers kept missing things and messing up my order. The lady gave it to me but offered no sort of apology or compensation. Fries portion is EXTREMELY small as well.
The customer service needs MAJOR improvement. I don't know if it's because all of the workers are teenagers or what, but I should not have something wrong with my order every time I go. It's beyond ridiculous. And don't bother filing a complaint on their website, they won't do anything but send you an automated "we're sorry that happened" message. I hate to be that person, but this establishment needs some major improvements when it comes...
Read moreI would like to write an honest review . If you want crispy tenders as advertised you won’t get them that way . The thing is I love their food the taste and flavor is amazing one of none . But I can’t eat slimy chicken that looks half cooked . It’s very rubbery when it’s slimy and overall distasteful when made that way . I read another comment where a lady said the lady manager doesn’t like for the food to be crispy for whatever reason . I asked in advance can you make my food crispy in the drive through with no answer only a total was repeated for my purchase . I knew off top when I got to the front the chicken would be slime while the young lady in drive through was so kind and sweet I asked her was my food made crispy . She shook her head and said yes . Then I looked in my bag I knew from looking at the tenders they weren’t seemed a bit of a rush so I touched them to make sure and it was very soft and slimy so I gave them the food back they told me they would have to remake the food over and I was fine with them dipping it down for a few minutes the thing is I’m not picky at all nor am I just a mean hearted person so I give honor where honor is due . They told me to drive up and I did and waited and I waited no more than 15 to for my food to be remade and when the manager came I said I apologize I wasn’t trying to be hard on anyone but when I asked at the drive through could I get it crispy they could’ve told me we don’t do it that way and I wouldn’t respectfully understood and went elsewhere . Other than that the bread is always good and fresh ( toast) the fries are always good and I would recommend this place but if you don’t like soft slimy chicken it’s best you don’t even go to the...
Read moreI LOVE Canes, there are times where I drive from Clinton MS just to eat Cane’s & occasionally on my 45 minute lunch break, I drive from Madison MS to eat Canes. What bothers me is when i come and my food isn’t what i expected. My last two visits to Cane’s the food wasn’t fresh and the drink (sweet tea) wasn’t much better. Today, July 3rd, I drove from Clinton MS to Jackson/Ridgeland to go to Canes. While speaking with the young lady by the name of Le’Niya, I politely asked her if i could have my food fresh due to the recent two visits, she stated, “our food is cooked upon order, so our food is always hot.” Her response was very inappropriate, i never stated my food was “COLD” i said that it wasn’t fresh. Secondly, If a customer is saying that it wasn’t right and they’re not complaining, they’re simply making a statement then her response wasn’t necessary. Everything would have been fine had she not went the extra step to say, “it gone be about four minutes now. Since you want fresh food” after i asked for her name. If it’s cooked upon order, I don’t understand why she made that statement. This young lady isn’t customer service friendly at all. I have worked in FastFood for years and was a Assistant Manager for 4 years before changing professions. This type of behavior isn’t acceptable and nor were here remarks necessary. Overall Cane’s is a wonderful place and I love the food but if this is the type of service that I’m going to get then I will have to stop eating at the one in...
