Arrived at this store to be the second customer in line. The young lady at the register serving the customer in front of me had absolutely no idea what she was doing on the register, which was down for "cash only" and she was trying to take a credit card order and running back and forth between two registers trying to figure out what to do as the manager, I found out later, and another young at the drive through and just stood and shook their heads. When the young lady finally got around to taking my order, she had to ask for the order of four bacon cheese Krystal's and four cheese Krystal's and bacon cheese tots, four times, and rang it up at least four times, and finally asked for money, but I could not hear what she said for an amount and handed her a $20.00 bill, and she gave me back I think $14.00, when I asked for to see the receipt I saw the amount was $24.01, and I gave her all the change that she gave me, and $4.01 in addition. I asked an employee for help for her, and the manager came up and asked did you give her $20 or $40, and I told her $20.00 and gave her the $4.01 and the change as the manager was there. The manager did not fix the problem, but when back to working on the grill. She stood there for at least another 15 to 20 minutes trying to figure out how to put the money back in the register, as the young lady from the drive through just watched her, and wait on another walk in customer. I asked her if she was going to help her fix the problem, and she said "that ain't my problem!" I asked if there was a manager on duty and she then pointed out the woman on the grill and I asked her if she was going to fix the issue at the register and she said "I don't have time for that" and told the young man working with her to "get my order and get me out." The food when I got it was excellent, but I will never return to this location when I see how the manager on duty allows an employee to fail miserably in front of customer and another employee did the same thing. I apologized to the cashier for the treatment and what appeared to a lack of training that she was getting from the on duty manager and her co-workers and told her I wouldn't continue...
Read moreI’ve been to some fast food places lately that have been deplorable. People seem less than thankful to have a job these days and would rather have a government hand-out versus earning a paycheck. The lady that was working at THIS Krystal was a cut above though. I don’t know her name. She was a younger (than me anyway) black girl with the top portion of her hair dyed red. She was very courteous. She told me, at first, that they were out of bacon for the Krystals. But I think it goes to show that a little kindness can go a long way. I tried to be nice to her… I mean, why not? I try to be nice to anyone that’ll let me. She was nice in return. I asked her how her Christmas was and she said she got to speak with her son on the phone. I think she was then only one working that night. When she brought my order out, she told me she was able to find some bacon in the back freezer and use that to make my order the way I’d originally asked for. She didn’t have to go that extra step… but she did. That’s the sign of a quality employee that really ought to be considered for a management and/or training position within the company. That experience alone will keep me coming back and I hope I get the pleasure of having her greet me at the window during...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience at this Krystal’s location. We arrived to find one of the entrance doors locked, so we had to go around to the other side. When we mentioned it to the employee inside, they casually said, “Yes, we know,” with no explanation or apology. We placed our order at the counter, but the employee didn’t ring anything up. A girl from the drive-thru came to the front, gave us a total, handed back our card, and said, “You have to pay over there.” Confused, we asked where, and she pointed outside—to the drive-thru window. She expected us to walk outside the building to pay for our food at the drive-thru instead of simply walking to the register herself. Her attitude was rude, and she made unnecessary gestures that were completely unprofessional. To top it all off, the manager who we noticed had been sitting in his vehicle outside eventually came in, but the experience was already ruined. We originally planned to dine in, but the service was so off-putting that we took our food and ate in the car. As we were eating, we saw the manager back in his car again. It’s clear that there’s a serious lack of customer service and management accountability at this location. I will never return to...
