Went with friends and was quite impressed. Let's start with the beers. I ordered the Starving Artists collaborative Dortmunder beer and the first sip just knocked my socks off. Good thing I wore socks. What a wonderul balanced flavor. This might be a new favorite, although it's a temporary beer. I also got the Com-Bloc Black Baltic Stout - also good. But that Dortmunder, ooh la la. I also got the Jäger Chop which was two breaded pork chops with an incredible mushroom gravy (called Hunter gravy) which was set atop real mashed potatoes. It was flat fantastic. The gravy was flavorful and plentiful and I just wanted to drink it but I put it on the pork chops instead, which were perfectly cooked in a thick breading. So, so good. My better half got the King Ranch Wrap with sweet potato fries. She described it as having the exact right ratio of ingredients and sauce. My bud got the adult chicken tenders but I didn't catch what his wife got because, well, there were Jäger chops and they wouldn't eat themselves. I can't recommend this place more highly. Prices are fair for what you get, beer is good and the servers are friendly and prompt. What more could you ask for?

We felt the food was alright. We got the pretzel appetizer, monzano calzone, and the San Juan tacos. The service was pretty slow for a Thursday but maybe that’s normal? Pretzel: it was okay. It was too dry. The queso was pretty good but the mustard was too strong. Also it didn’t come before our food so just a heads up that you might not get it before your actual meal Calzone: the waitress recommended their pizza and calzones. The crust and cheese were really good…10/10. The issue was the ratio. There was too much toppings/fillings that it detracted from the full flavor. It’s weird to dislike having too much food but I ended up eating around most of it because the ratio was off. I like marinara sauce but the one included was gross. The portion is huge so consider sharing! Tacos: pretty good. I felt the meat and rice were dry but overall a good meal. We won’t be back but I think the pizzas might be worth a shot. I wasn’t impressed with the service but this seems to be the new normal when going out to eat 🤷🏼‍♂️

Grateful these folks were open on New Year’s Day. They were among the few & it was packed! Anyway… Have you ever gone to a restaurant & ordered then wished you had ordered what all of your friends got instead of what you got? That happened to me. I ordered the fish tacos and it came with the green nice, good not great. My brother ordered the fried pork chop, better. It was schnitzel style. But what stole-the-show completely was the burgers! Also, it was our friend’s birthday & they totally hooked us up with a killer, shareable dessert. Why not a 5/5? Couple reasons, where we were seated the staff seemed to be going in & out constantly & it was a repeat cold blast. The staff was stretched thin for sure, they were friendly & in good spirits about it.

First & last time visit! Did not expect a hostess & since there was a hostess, I would expect, perhaps, the door be opened or a greeting. Even Walmart has a greeter 🤦🏼‍♀️. Instead, after we battled with the door (we are elderly) I realize now, the pretty girl standing behind the podium, was a hostess. Unbeknownst to us, we needed to wait to be seated! NO SIGN, WAIT FOR HOSTESS TO BE SEATED, NO HELLO, WELCOME IN, NOT A WORD FROM THE CUTE HOSTESS. We walked past her, headed left, I said “Hi, How are You?” and kept walking to the table we wanted. A waiter immediately STOPPED US…and rudely informed us we could NOT sit there, we have a rotation system! I was in the service business for 25 years! I TOTALLY get it! If you do not have a rotation seating system, the server in the shitty section will starve. COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE! Admirable! Great management for your servers. The response from the male server was rude and unacceptable! Maybe a hi, how are you today, did you check in with the hostess? I recently broke my leg, walking all the way back was not easy & then we were treated rudely & had to walk back up to the hostess and ASK her for a table. Had to ask HER if she was a hostess?

We were seated closest to the bathroom! Great for older people 😂😂😂😂. Our server was very good. We only came in for the monte cristo! Decent, but sure it was fried in seed oil 😪. The raspberry sauce was bitter….and don’t dare ask for more…$2.00 for 2 Tablespoons! Powdered sugar was absent.

I TIP BIG, because I lived off tips for 20 years! That was before the greedy proprietor! Sure we will not be missed by your...

Ok. So after coming home and falling into a food coma...

I can properly assess my visit.

What a great place this was! The first thing I noticed was the smell of the place. I loved it! Such a nice malty aroma!

The place was packed, but it took a really short time to be seated. We went up to the bar to have a drink while we waited. I had the Wooden Teeth American Lager. That was a very balanced beer! No wonder it got a gold medal at GABF! My dad ordered the stout. Not sure the name of it, but it certainly was tasty!

As soon as we sat, we were able to order. Our table got a number of items, all of which were outstanding! There was a bbq onion ring burger that was cooked perfectly at medium temp., the green chili soup (holy $#!+) that was amazing! We also had the Miah Ti pizza and Mac and Cheese with grilled chicken. The crust on the Miah Ti was perfectly balanced between thin (but not too thin) and hand tossed (just thick enough). The Mac and Cheese was the perfect kind of homemade comfort food that you long for.

I can't remember our server's name, but he was very attentive. The day after Christmas isn't a day anyone wants to be at work, but there he was! As far as groups go, we weren't that bad. Just a couple of things ordered on the side, but not picky to the point of annoying, and our server remembered everything and was really good about not hating us. Lol.

Coming from Sacramento CA where breweries pop up like rabbits, I can honestly say that you guys are doing something right, and I am glad I got to experience it. Thank you for having us and being...

I had a bad experience a few years ago. The best Ruben I've ever had but I was turned off that I got charged for tap water and ketchup for French fries. I thought " how does a restaurant get away with this?" There were many signs proclaiming what they would not do for patrons. Today, on a slow Monday, years later I wanted that Ruben so bad, so we hesitated but decided to give it a fresh try. I asked for two tables as I had three teenagers, two adults and two children. I noticed a nice, really large empty patio and asked for that. The answer was that they do not have service to the patio, so I would need to take care of the service for 5 adults, two kids at the bar. I was offered two tables in a back section and that was perfect. I was then told I had to sit in the front with two tables and when I asked why I couldn't have two back tables I wanted and was offered, the answer was "my server doesn't want to give you both and lose two tables". So for a second time, years later, the servers are still weirdly unaccommodating over the smallest requests. That mixed with the memory of my previous visit left me irritated and wondering how this restaurant gets away with it's unwillingness to accommodate in so many areas, and nickel and dime everything that is standard in all other restaurants. When I told the two staff we were leaving because I've now had to bad experiences, I was just told an unapologetic goodbye. We took our business up the road to 1933 Brewery, which was good food and exceptional...
