First & last time visit! Did not expect a hostess & since there was a hostess, I would expect, perhaps, the door be opened or a greeting. Even Walmart has a greeter 🤦🏼♀️. Instead, after we battled with the door (we are elderly) I realize now, the pretty girl standing behind the podium, was a hostess. Unbeknownst to us, we needed to wait to be seated! NO SIGN, WAIT FOR HOSTESS TO BE SEATED, NO HELLO, WELCOME IN, NOT A WORD FROM THE CUTE HOSTESS. We walked past her, headed left, I said “Hi, How are You?” and kept walking to the table we wanted. A waiter immediately STOPPED US…and rudely informed us we could NOT sit there, we have a rotation system! I was in the service business for 25 years! I TOTALLY get it! If you do not have a rotation seating system, the server in the shitty section will starve. COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE! Admirable! Great management for your servers. The response from the male server was rude and unacceptable! Maybe a hi, how are you today, did you check in with the hostess? I recently broke my leg, walking all the way back was not easy & then we were treated rudely & had to walk back up to the hostess and ASK her for a table. Had to ask HER if she was a hostess?
We were seated closest to the bathroom! Great for older people 😂😂😂😂. Our server was very good. We only came in for the monte cristo! Decent, but sure it was fried in seed oil 😪. The raspberry sauce was bitter….and don’t dare ask for more…$2.00 for 2 Tablespoons! Powdered sugar was absent.
I TIP BIG, because I lived off tips for 20 years! That was before the greedy proprietor! Sure we will not be missed by your...

I can properly assess my visit.
What a great place this was! The first thing I noticed was the smell of the place. I loved it! Such a nice malty aroma!
The place was packed, but it took a really short time to be seated. We went up to the bar to have a drink while we waited. I had the Wooden Teeth American Lager. That was a very balanced beer! No wonder it got a gold medal at GABF! My dad ordered the stout. Not sure the name of it, but it certainly was tasty!
As soon as we sat, we were able to order. Our table got a number of items, all of which were outstanding! There was a bbq onion ring burger that was cooked perfectly at medium temp., the green chili soup (holy $#!+) that was amazing! We also had the Miah Ti pizza and Mac and Cheese with grilled chicken. The crust on the Miah Ti was perfectly balanced between thin (but not too thin) and hand tossed (just thick enough). The Mac and Cheese was the perfect kind of homemade comfort food that you long for.
I can't remember our server's name, but he was very attentive. The day after Christmas isn't a day anyone wants to be at work, but there he was! As far as groups go, we weren't that bad. Just a couple of things ordered on the side, but not picky to the point of annoying, and our server remembered everything and was really good about not hating us. Lol.
Coming from Sacramento CA where breweries pop up like rabbits, I can honestly say that you guys are doing something right, and I am glad I got to experience it. Thank you for having us and being...
Read moreI had a bad experience a few years ago. The best Ruben I've ever had but I was turned off that I got charged for tap water and ketchup for French fries. I thought " how does a restaurant get away with this?" There were many signs proclaiming what they would not do for patrons. Today, on a slow Monday, years later I wanted that Ruben so bad, so we hesitated but decided to give it a fresh try. I asked for two tables as I had three teenagers, two adults and two children. I noticed a nice, really large empty patio and asked for that. The answer was that they do not have service to the patio, so I would need to take care of the service for 5 adults, two kids at the bar. I was offered two tables in a back section and that was perfect. I was then told I had to sit in the front with two tables and when I asked why I couldn't have two back tables I wanted and was offered, the answer was "my server doesn't want to give you both and lose two tables". So for a second time, years later, the servers are still weirdly unaccommodating over the smallest requests. That mixed with the memory of my previous visit left me irritated and wondering how this restaurant gets away with it's unwillingness to accommodate in so many areas, and nickel and dime everything that is standard in all other restaurants. When I told the two staff we were leaving because I've now had to bad experiences, I was just told an unapologetic goodbye. We took our business up the road to 1933 Brewery, which was good food and exceptional...
