I hardly go out to eat. Only on special occasions, really. So I went through the drive thru and ordered my items. Older lady who took my order was very patient and nice at first. Paid, got some bags and pulled out of the drive-thru and parked in the parking lot. I stopped to check of I had everything. I was missing a few items. Went back through the drive thru and told them. Showed receipt and bags. Wasn't able to get my items let alone my money back for it. They said they "know" they put them in there. Clearly not if nothing was eaten nor distributed throughout the car. I used to work at a few Jack's and I know how it is. To make matters worse, the older lady who was working the drive thru, was talking loud about how no one was helping her and that it wasn't her job to bag food and take the orders. The younger girl in the back looked at her, gave her a dirty look, and kinda smirked. Like. I just had a really long day. My body is tired from all the physical work I put in today. And I was just hungry. I felt truly disrespected and know it's just food. But I had spent money and wasted it on food my friends could not eat. I wanted to buy dinner for them bc they helped me move. We went to McDonald's to get them their orders. I will never ever go back to this location again. And I highly reccomend you...
Read moreOkay first off I’d give 0 stars if I could. Ordered the late night box with the grilled cheese burger and it was ice cold. The one slice of plastic cheese on the grilled cheese part of the sandwich wasn’t even melted, the three giant slices of bread were stale and rock hard and the burger patty tasted like cardboard. Couldn’t even mask it in ketchup. Yuck. The fries were cold the second I got it and so were the tacos along with their very soggy floppy tortilla shells. The freestyle machine was completely out of every soda except a few diet ones, (psa: aspartame is horrible for you) so I had to go to the gas station next door to fill up the soda cup and even the lady there said this jack in the box was awful. Maybe others have had better luck with the day shift but theres no excuse for the blatant lack of pride these workers put in there job. I don’t recommend wasting even a penny here, you’ll be sorely...
Read moreGenerally displeased with the quality of the food and structure here. I understand you're supposed to just shovel everything into your mouth and zip it. But, when your burgers are mangled and the size of a penny.. I think you need to drop the prices.
There are a few issues that hold this one back in particular;
Seating has been a hassle and need an upgrade. Truckers, travelers, and adventures eat here and the seats could use a little more padding. "What is this chair made out of?" "Uhhh... Steel?" Makes you want to eat on the curb outside.
The burgers are sloppy and Noone named "Joe" is around. Like I said above, shovel it in an zip it. No. No. No. Not when you are spending $5 for a once $1.29 burger just 6 months ago... plus the cost of gas. Oof. I'd say, that people only eat here because it is a gas station.
Save yourself the hassle and buy a bag of peanuts next door and wait for another eatery...
