I love Emma's. It is a staple in River Falls. It's not as dirt cheap as it used to be, but still probably the best bang for your buck of all the bars in town. They have a good amount of taps and do off sale. I like the Mr. E shots.
Emma's has the most diverse clientele around, and the music choices are usually an excellent reflection of that. It's a small bar and can get very packed. Fantastic prices, lovely bartenders, friendly crowd, and all around happy place to be. The little local dive bars out here stop the music and everyone turns to stare at you when you walk in like a saloon in an old western movie, and Emmas NEVER does that to you!    Read moreMy now-husband and I have been coming here since we met back in 2015 and he's been coming here a lot longer. Emma's is one of those comfy townie bars that accepts all ages, genders, sexualities, races, etc. The bar staff is always friendly and prices can't be beat, especially for those of us who live in Minneapolis/St. Paul. We enjoy coming in and seeing some old, friendly faces. Pretty small in size (especially the bathrooms!) and can get pretty crowded on the weekends, but not always the case....
