I rarely leave reviews for anything, and I do not like to leave negative reviews, but I felt it was necessary to help others when choosing a restaurant to dine at. We are relatively new to the Hudson area, so I knew nothing of this restaurant before dining here. If you are looking for a good Italian meal, I don’t think this is your place. My family and I went to dinner here last night. Husband got the deep dish pizza & was not impressed with it. We did live in the Chicago area and have had deep dish at many places. I did not taste it, so I cannot comment on that. The salads were made with shredded lettuce and had tomato and croutons. The mostaccioli was rather bland and could’ve used more sauce, cheese, and meat (comes with 1 meatball, not large) The chicken Alfredo was made with spaghetti noodles, which I have NEVER had before with ordering many times. It tasted very much like a jarred Alfredo sauce, and rather than nice slices of grilled chicken, they offered up cubed, processed chicken. Again, that was not very flavorful. Also, a good Alfredo sauce, when reheating the next day for leftover, usually separates a little bit with your butter/cream…didn’t happen. Even the buttered, grilled piece of bread was disappointing. I did appreciate the cookies that were brought with our bill. Our server was friendly and provided adequate service. You really need to try to do better with the flavors & quality of your food if you want people to return again. I want to enjoy the food I pay...
Read moreOur server was very sweet and kind but seriously the worst food my boyfriend and I have ever had. We can’t stop talking about just how terrible it was 😂 I went here once by myself and got a calzone to go, apparently the delivery driver had taken it with him so they made me a new one and gave it to me for free for the inconvenience which was very nice, but the “Luigi’s favorite” calzone was dry and just terrible. I thought I would bring my boyfriend and give them another try and try some other things on the menu, and again, just horrible. The nachos are just chips with melted cheese only on top, nothing else. The dinner salad was just made of very finely shredded lettuce which made it hard to eat, and the alfredo was spaghetti noodles with what tasted like the cheapest store bought alfredo sauce they could find out of a jar. My boyfriend got a medium pizza which he also said was so bad, we decided not to take anything home. (He is not picky or hard to please what so ever so I was shocked lol) and the ingredients are surely frozen and not fresh. I was sick after the first bite of Alfredo. Though our server was very sweet and it wasn’t her fault, it was the worst dinner I’ve had out anywhere probably ever. But on the flip side their cookies are very good! 😂 Try at your own risk. Won’t...
Read moreAfter the delivery driver made a rude remark about the tip and stated something under his breath as he walked away, my husband called them as we were completely baffled that the interaction even happened. The other employee then told us she found it hard to believe that happened while the owner started his reply off with “I believe you were mistaken” and included excuses for the employees conduct. Sure, everyone has bad days but you don’t include that in your response to a customer making you aware of an interaction with one of your employees. As I told the owner when attempting to correct the problem without writing a review or sharing the experience, from one small business to another… check your employees. We have regularly supported this business and will no longer chose to do so following the interactions with the staff &...
