Georgia Potato Factory — Restaurant in Riverdale

I have DoorDashed from the Georgia Potato Factory twice, and both times, I have ordered enough food to feed a small village—or at least three very hungry people. The craziest part? I have never actually tasted a single bite. Not because it looks bad. Oh no, quite the opposite. This food looks too good, and I know myself. One bite, and it’s over—I’ll be hooked. I’ll be that person sitting in my car outside their restaurant, shaking like a potato addict, wondering how my life spiraled into this delicious obsession.

Instead, I just admire it like a work of art. The Philly cheesesteak? A masterpiece. The jerk chicken? A culinary Michelangelo. And whatever my friends ordered last time? Perfection. It smells so good that I swear I can feel my soul leaving my body for just a moment, tempted to snatch a bite. But I resist. I sit there like a food monk, watching my friends devour their meals, calculating just how many calories I’d be consuming if I joined in.

One day, I will cave. I will take that bite. And when that day comes, I will accept my fate. Until then, I’ll continue DoorDashing food I refuse to eat, just to admire...

I heard about this place and been wanting to try it. Was reading through the reviews and one JRU something, had a review about how the customer service with a female who has pink and blue hair sucked. I wasn’t going to go but what changed my mind was the response from the manager or business reaching out to him apologizing for bad customer service. I know everyone’s not perfect but that got me up and went to get 2 Chicken and broccoli potatoes for my man and I. The female wasn’t there but two young men were. Let me tell you this one young man kept saying gotchu when I spoke to him. I don’t care about the jargon but his humble way made me go order a pretzel and want to come back. He was polite and the young man in the back too but that young man who said GOTCHU made my first time experience good good Great! Now the food was GOOD and FILLING! I enjoyed it and didn’t realize there was Many to choose from. Definitely coming back again because the MANAGERS LISTEN to the feedback of the public and though they ain’t perfect they try to make sure whoever is having a bad experience that they acknowledge them. That ALONE...

Dear Management:

On Wednesday September 15th 2021 after 6pm. I ordered a classic potato and a chicken cheese potato.

Since I have been working all day I figured I would patronize your business for the 1st time.

Both potatoes looked great from the outside but when I stuck my fork into the potatoes one for myself and the other for my supervisor they were under cooked, the broccoli was not cooked all the way and after only taking one-two bites I said to myself this is not even done.

I tried calling multiple times but no one never answered the phone.

I even attempted to take it home to microwave it and add some type of sauce to it nothing, and it was not worth me breaking out heavy cream and cooking it down to mash potatoes!!!

I had a very long day at work, it’s unfortunate you can’t get quality food in this area.

This is not a good look especially for a 1st time customer, I would say I would like my money back but it’s not worth the $7-8.00 dollars that you charge.

This will be my last time ordering from your establishment.
