Sugar Bush Bar & Grill Sports Bar — Restaurant in Georgia

I went to Sugar Bush to have a drink with a friend, and was very disappointed. The bartender Kat asked me if I wanted a happy hour drink for $5 or a full drink for $9. I ordered the full drink. When it came it looked like a happy hour drink. When I asked the bartender about it she got very nasty. I decided to drink my drink and leave. I asked for a glass of water and had to ask 4 times I never got my water. My friend asked for 2 glasses of water and gave me one. (she only asked once) I have been to there before but had bad service and stayed away, then I would try them again, have bad service and stay away. I heard that they were under new management so I decided to stop by. A new owner with the same lousy management means the same bad service. They need to get rid of the unfriendly, dishonest manager, non smiling, no conversation bartenders and young no memory waitresses. I do not know who the new owner is but I hope he reads this post. YOU NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE. If you want to make money... MOST of the current employees should be replaced with friendly, professional, customer oriented staff. Do not get the water down drinks.Even the top shelf stuff is water down. I asked if someone can re do my drink. They got the manager. Who is the bar tender. She said she made that water drink her self. And that it was good. I asked if she could please taste it?? She said no!!! And that even though I don't like it. They don't exchange, fix or refund it. And you still got to pay for it!!! I said no no!!! She said if I don't pay. She will call the police. And I will go to jail. I said for a full glass drink. That I did not want. She said yes!!! I put the drink on the countertop. And said no. I will not. She still put it on my bill. I only paid for the food. She came out the door. And got up to leave. The manager follow me out the door. And told me the police was on the way. I ask for what? A drink. I did not drink? I said GTFOH!!! she had someone take my tag number. I recorded our conversation at the bar. And took pictures of the drink and receipts.

I try too give black owned business a chance. And this is what they do!!! SMH! THEY NEED...

August 2023: I was at Sugar Bush earlier this month and the drinks are NOT what they once were. I don't know if the bartender was different but it was like drinking Koolaid. I always get the "Bob Marley" which is normally a potent drink. I had three and never got a buzz. My friend didn't even bother to drink her third one because it was just that disappointing. We told our server who was great but it didn't seem like the "people in the back" cared. If I am going to spend $14 per drink it should have some effect otherwise I might as well stay home. I was very disappointed. This is a popular neighborhood spot that has always been convenient. I want to go again this weekend but honestly, if I get a drink and it tastes like pure juice, I'm leaving and I won't be back. Again, our server was amazing. This was not her fault. I can't remember her name but it was her birthday when we went.
