This is my favorite Chick-fil-A location simply because of their staff. When you go somewhere and the staff is constantly changing, to me, it's not a good sign for the establishment. The Riverdale location staff is consistent, very plesent and they make you feel special! Now I must tell you I come several times a week (mostly in the morning for my kids breakfast before school), so I'm usually always greated by name from a handful of employees. It doesn't matter if I come inside or use the mobile order line, the service is always great. Have I ever had a mishap with my order, I would say yes. The fact that this has been my main location for over 15yrs, I would say I can count on one hand how many time it's happened. Another reason why this location is my favorite, they are apologetic and quick to fix whatever the issue is with a smile and great customer service. I go to a lot of locations all over and one thing I must say is Chris, the Riverdale operator, is seen and not just to smile and welcome you for visiting. Every time I see him, he's in the Frontline working along side his employees. It was scorching hot yesterday and he was out helping drive through with a smile and acknowledging everyone who came through. Although he wasn't the one to bring me my order, he still made it a point to acknowledge me and my order as I pulled up to the mobile order line after check-in.
I believe all Chick-fil-A lines move swiftly. That's why when the lines is sticking out in the street, we still get in line knowing it will moves fast. Lines were long, I had a large order and I was still in and out in great time.
Our food was fresh as always, ice cream filled to the brim, we had extra napkins (were much needed with the kid orders), plenty of sauce and everything tasted as desired!
I no longer live in Riverdale, but whenever I visit, I make it a point to visit my favorite location. It's the only location I can come get sweet tea and it's actually sweet.
I'm not sure if they still have their activity nights/family night, but when my oldest was growing up, we went to all their events throughout the year. Read moreI had a horrible experience here. But it wasn't what happened so much as management did nothing to help me. This Chick-fil-A is not working according to corporate standards. Normally the service provided is wonderful. This was hopefully a rare exception. I ordered a gluten-free grilled club combo at 3:25, and shortly thereafter received my order and returned home. I checked my receipt and it did not indicate in any way a gluten free order. So I called the store. After the third call someone answered. It was a mix-up and also my fault because I did not confirm before I left the store. So they offered to swap it out for me without charging the difference. So I drove back to the store to get my wife her sandwich. When I got there and explained the situation again, as if the first time, I was told it would take a while to get it ready. So I waited. I suppose I am too patient. I waited 30 minutes and reminded them I was waiting. They had forgotten me. So in five or six more minutes I finally had a gluten free sandwich. And that's it. No "sorry for the wait", nor any offers of a soda while I waited. Nothing. I was not happy. This is the first time I have received such poor service. I've worked at corporate hq as a contractor and always admired the core values Truett established and the way the entire company executes his wishes. But that day, I did not have a pleasant experience. It was rather embarrassing on Chick-fil-A's behalf. Then I contacted the customer satisfaction, their response follows:
"As Chick-fil-A locations are independently owned and operated, your comments are being forwarded to the leadership team at the Riverdale Dwarf House Restaurant so they are aware of your feedback. By doing so it ensures your dissatisfaction is shared and can be addressed where your experience took place."
And since then? Not a word from the Riverdale Dwarf House management....
Read morei love chickfila always have, i go to this location because its closest to my job so i can make it back before my break is over. i have had the MOST bad experiences everytime i come to this location. today will be my last day going. almost every employee today acted as if they did not want to be at work. i am very kind and i have worked in customer service so i know how things should be done & ran. on this particular day, i ordered a #1 meal. i paid for the meal before pulling around to the front. out of respect for the worker in the front i left a little gap between her and my car because i did not want to be too close to her so she has the ability to turn around and walk to the mobile order area, if need be. she informed me that i did not pay for my order. i paid with apple pay the order came down on my phone informing i had paid for it at 9:51 AM on Wednesday, April 23. she tells me i did not pay for it so i proceed to pay again but i asked if it did not go through the first time she said no. i check my bank statement as i am leaving and i was indeed charged for this same order twice. Once at 9:51 and another one and 9:54. if i wanted to pay 2x more for a simple meal i couldve doordashed it and tipped my dasher... now i have to file a claim with my bank because i have been charged twice for an order, and i only recieved one order. this is not the first time something has happened at this chickfila, they are either leaving contents out of my bag, or the one time when i was served chicken that was not done all the way through. i have reached out to the company before and have heard nothing back. chickfila prides itself on exceptional food & customers service... but that is not always recieved. this is my final time visiting this location, i am tired of poor...
