Edit: 12/18/2023 Improved hospitality. This restaurant is a complete letdown. Upon entering, the staff couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my presence until I practically had to beg for attention at the counter. A basic greeting seems too much to ask for.
If you're a student, consider yourself invisible. After sitting there like a forgotten relic for a solid 15 minutes, it became evident that the staff had no intention of acknowledging, let alone serving me promptly.
The service? A joke. Orders took an eternity to arrive, and when they did, it was like a game of chance – maybe you'll get what you ordered, maybe you won't. The inconsistency in fulfilling orders is beyond frustrating.
Don't even get me started on the taste. It's like a culinary roulette; you never know what you're going to get. Expecting the same flavor two days in a row? Forget it.
The owners are a special breed of disinterested. If you're not part of their inner circle, good luck getting their attention. They'd rather chat away with their preferred customers than bother with fulfilling orders or ensuring a decent dining experience.
And let's talk about those glowing reviews. I'm convinced they're fabrications. The stark difference between my miserable experience and those raving reviews raises serious doubts about the authenticity of the positive feedback. It's hard to believe anyone genuinely enjoys...
Read moreI had an amazing dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the boneless chicken biryani, mutton Sukka biryani, and double ka meetha, and each dish exceeded my expectations. The boneless chicken biryani was flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. But the real standout was the mutton Sukka biryani—it brought me the authentic taste of Hyderabad, with tender meat and a rich blend of spices that transported me straight to the heart of South India.
For dessert, the double ka meetha was a real treat. It’s one of my favorite sweets, and I haven’t found one like it anywhere else in the U.S. The rich, sweet flavors were just spot on.
The only downside was the atmosphere. Since the restaurant is fairly new, the ambience could use a bit of improvement to make the dining experience even better. However, the food definitely made up for it, and I’d still highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic...
Read morePerfect example of "Don't judge a book by its cover". The impression of the restaurant and dining takes a hit - the place needs to be refreshed/upgraded and requires upkeep. Inspite of that, the food was surprisingly decent! We ordered: chicken 65 (saucy and spicy), tandoori prawns (had a similar taste and sauce base as chicken 65), chicken dum biryani (flavor was nice and subtle, but definitely catered for non-desi customers), and Irani Chai (although it didn't specifically taste like Irani Chai, if you consider it as regular chai - it was superb!). The service was good and everyone was keenly interested in checking on how the food was and what our feedback was for any improvements. Given this, I think they have potential and should be a local business that should be supported to grow, as long as they make the necessary improvements in...
