This is the store closest to my house so I’m there often. Everyone there is very friendly and someone always acknowledges you when you walk in. Today I got lucky and there was a short line in the DT so I drove in rather than using mobile order. I usually order one of two drinks and yes they are customized so I know the price. Well today it was more for my usual drink in the drive thru. I asked the girl at the window how I should order in future to avoid the higher price. It turned into a whole issue about custom milk being extra if it was more than 4 oz and so forth. The shift came and helped me saying there were more strict with extra charges, the difference between “a splash” and “4oz” I got frustrated because I just wanted to know what to say to a live human to get the exact same drink I always order on the phone. They’re super nice, they’re super busy and it’s the holidays. They were polite and humored me about my kinda ridiculous issue (hey 70 cents adds up!) and even remade my drink. Lesson learned lol but they are a great and friendly staff so please be nice to them!!! Thank you ladies who...
Read moreDrive thru line is always too long and parking can be terrible. No where really comfy to sit either... I suggest mobile order or make sure you have time to wait otherwise. I order the same thing everytime andits always different depending on who makes it. So annoying... The people working can either be super nice and knowledgeable or rude. I asked for a water with my mobile order and was told I have to wait behind the 10 people in line. I suggest making water an option to add on to mobile orders. I was also given rolled eyes when i said my drink that i ordered was made wrong. They made it wrong the second time too... i watched them and hade to tell them how to make it per starbucks recipe... the barista read the cup as a green tea lemonade with whole milk and 5 scoops matcha... when I ordered a green tea latte... dodnt even aknowledge that they read the cup wrong. Just threw it on the table and walked away... if you want better customer service go to the one off university or switch to...
Read moreHours keep changing at each location in Riverside. Most of them close 1 or 2 hours earlier than listed on Google and even their own website. Even the drive thru hours separate from the main walk-in hours are all over the place. If they tell you open at 4:30 am, but drive thru is open at 6, just bank on them opening at 6 and disregard that 4:30am. More than likely Starbucks can no longer afford 4:30 am staffing for orders just the truck delivery and clean up til 6am. This is the weirdest way for a huge brand to help me save money in these times by frustrating me to the point I will not consider wasting my time, my gas, or my stars on getting a drink outside of lunch time Noon sharp. Hope their regional ppl can bother to waddle from their couch to their laptop to take a look at some of these comments so they know why their west coast numbers are falling...
