Events Sports Grill — Restaurant in Riverside

They charged me for my food, but never gave me my debit card back when I asked why I haven’t received my debit card back. They tried to blame me saying that I must have misplaced it, but I assured them that they never gave it back to me. I waited 45 minutes in the 45 minutes that I was waiting not only were they not looking for my card But they also insisted that I was the one that misplaced it. They didn’t even care to look for it, and then they tried to say they were looking for it but again the entire time they were blaming me when they never gave it back to me do not come here unless you want them to take your debit card and not give it back . It’s a very slow Thursday. There’s barely anyone in here how they lose someone’s card I have no idea I didn’t even come in with a purse. I literally came in with only my card and my keys in my pocket and yet somehow I’m leaving with only my keys. It’s very very sketchy. I don’t recommend this place at all the manager this blonde lady was zero help. Every time I tried to express to her how frustrated I was that I’m 45 minutes away from home with less than half a tank of gas and I need my debit card back and I know without a doubt that it’s in this establishment and the fact that she refuses to care is just ridiculous, not only that, but she wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence. She consistently would interrupt me over and over again. In fact, she even threatened to call the police on me, telling me that I’m causing a disturbance in her establishment when I wasn’t causing a disturbance to customers had gone out of their way to ask me , what happened and I told them what happened I didn’t go out of my way to speak to anyone. Those customers spoke to me and yet the manager got mad that I was telling them what happened And threatened to call the police on me is...

Excellent communication is key when it comes to great service. I'm very dissapointed with the service manager jim apparently doesn't know the prices to tacos. I specifically asked manager jim how much were tacos? He said $2.50 each he didnt mention anything about taco tuesday specials...I was there on this sunday not tuesday...when I got bill he charged me $4.00 each taco and $3.00 on other 2 tacos. We ordered a total of 6 tacos in which by the way they messed up 1 taco that we never ordered. The point is his attitude was so disrespectful when I asked him why was he over charging me for tacos when I specifically asked him how much they were....if he wasnt sure he should of stated that at that moment....he didnt even say anything but slapped the charrge on my bill...and it wasnt until I asked him why...that his reply was look at the menu? Really I asked you, I stated to him. I have a right as a customer to question a over charge that was a different amount that what was verbally told to me. He told me to never come back...I said gladly will never and to work on his managing skills. Seems to me they were annoyed since we didnt order alcohol and thats how...

We having been going to Events since it opened years ago, however recently it has not been customer friendly at all. Perhaps it only caters to the few local customers & it's sad to say that public opinion still matters. Football this past Sunday was a testament to the general managers disregard for customer service . He refused to.put on a football that myself & numerous friends had come in to watch. It was slow after the morning game & I saw no reason why he stated to waitress that he refused to put on the game we wished to watch & tell them they are not at home so deal with it. Lost a group of football lovers due to his laziness & refusal to not change the channel to our game when no else was watching football. Children were running around in a bar & grill like it was Chucky Cheese no place for that many children with drinking going on. Will probably thing twice before going to Events Sports Bar & Grill in Riverside on Magnolia in the future. The owner is a savvy business man & I hope he is able to correct his...
