Lee's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Riverside

I had the #6 [BBQ pork sandwich/sub on a warm crispy 10in. Baguette] It had peppers, cilantro, mayo and shredded pieces of pork. It tasted delicious but I remember years ago it would come with more/bigger pieces of meat. Although I enjoyed it I think more meat would make the sandwich even better! The Thai tea was amazing, personally it's now my favorite. I can see why Vietnamese tea and coffee is hyped, it's so good. I ordered two #6's, thai tea and a strawberry smoothie (which was also super tasty) and it came out to about $23. It's totally worth the price because the size of the meal was filling. Definitely recommend giving it a try. I've tried other foods in previous years and never really had anything I didn't like. A good variety of options, even breakfast options and my favorite, fresh bread! The service is always nice and the place always looks clean so it's enjoyable eating...

They don't have Vietnamese coffee at this location. When I asked for it the cashier looked at me with a very confused look on her face then offered me milk tea. I chose to skip the drink and ordered a ham, bacon, and cheese croissant. It was horrible. There was a toothpick inside my sandwich. Not on it, inside it. I took a bite and felt something hard. Nearly thought I'd chipped a tooth. The egg was burnt, the bread was not flaky. The whole thing tasted like it was microwaved. Honestly, Jack in the box had a better sandwich. The store itself was pretty empty, and I don't mean lack of customers, there were only 2 pastries on display and a handful of sad looking pre-made ones on the shelves. Definitely won't be...

So I just ordered yesterday from here. Their family meal package with four ban mis. Three sodas and 2 appetizer. Even though it tasted normal to me i did notice that the meat texture wasnt all that good but continued on eating. About four to six hours later and not having anything beaides Lee's. Began feeling hot and sweety. And that continues to diarrhea which in turn force me to upchuck or hurl for the remainder of the night so I look up on Google what were the symptoms and they were saying it's food poisoning unless self-diagnosis but I can almost guarantee that was it. Im afraid to eat anything right now because I'm afraid I can't hold it down they will be...
