This McDonald's is the most disgusting place to eat or even be in. I wish there was a -5☆ rating option. I wish Wendy's would hurry up and reopen, this is sadly the better of the locations in the area. I will list the reasons why.
-Roaches! just crawling around. (I know roaches are common, but if this place was cleaner then they wouldn't have them. ) -Young rude inexperienced management. (These kids do not know how to talk to each other nor the guests. They have inappropriate unrelated conversation very loudly at that. (I am all for being friendly and talking to each other, but there is a time and place, when they make you wait to finish a disgusting conversation that is not ok.) *Also in the drive-thru when you guys are talking you may want to turn your headset off before 1. Talking crap about your guests. (who if it wasn't for, you wouldn't be getting that paycheck that some of you so don't earn.) 2. Talking about your personal lives. We (the ones who make it possible for you to get "smashed" do NOT 1. Want to hear about it and 2. Do not care.) -The dining room is usually trashed. -The food is usually poorly made, sloppy looking and nasty, not to mention usually cold or not very fresh tasting, especially 3rd shift. -I can't decide if the younger employees or the older ones are worse, I have been in and had bad service from both and through both dining room and drive-thru. -The prep/kitchen area viewable to guests is usually pretty nasty looking. -The night employees could spend more time 1. Cleaning. 2. Making fresh and/or presentable food. 3. Working on listening to and being a little respectful to each other and guests, and less time standing around, smoking and on their phone. -Some of the employees look like they just rolled out of bed and came in to work. -Seriously poor management from the younger "managers" to the GM. I really can't help but to think that the younger ones literally only want the title, perks and bragging rights because it doesn't seem like anyone or anything is being managed. (Well other than the phones in their hands.) -Parking lot is trashed. -Bathrooms need attention more often. -Smells rank by the front counter.
Other than the negatives at this McDonald's (which is so much better than west and east side locations.) There are a few friendly, neatly put together and hardworking employees. Service is usually pretty quick in both dining room and drive-thru.
McDonald's is a great quality reasonably priced fast food restaurant even with the locations like the ones we have here in the area. Honestly if it wasn't for the roaches, dirty kitchen/prep/parking/bathrooms and eating area's and the occasional rude poorly dressed employees this place would be pretty great.
I don't usually in fact NEVER leave a bad or any negative reviews but come on McDonald's get it together! -Pick/Train and Watch your employees and management better . -Clean up a little a few times a day. (I know it's difficult sometimes, I work at a restaurant.) -Monitor the quality, freshness and appearance of food served to your guests. -Watch how you speak and what is said around or about guests.
Literally we are your paycheck and we want and deserve better while spending time and money...
Read moreThe reason for my bad review today is because I have been going to this restaurant regularly since I moved to the area months ago. The food is usually fine, there are mistakes and rude employees here and there like at every restaurant, no big deal though. I put in an application online & had an interview not long after. The manager, Courtney, asked me to go ahead and start the orientation process immediately after interviewing me. I asked if it would be okay for me to come in a different day for orientation as I had someone waiting in the car for me and I had a doctor appointment that day as well and wasn't expecting to be asked to do orientation right away. She said that was fine and that she would call me the following day with a date. After not hearing from Courtney the following day, I called the store almost every day after that to try to get my orientation scheduled, however every time I called the employee on the phone would say she was not there that day & to call again tomorrow morning. This went on for about a week (she just wasnt there for a whole week? or someone was lying for her) until I finally reached Courtney today. I politely asked her what the steps were moving forward and she rudely told me to hold on. I overheard her talking with another employee while she was away from the phone, saying "I'm so irritated". She then picked the phone back up and told me in a snarky tone that she will call me if she wants me. Really? I don't understand why Courtney couldn't have told me at the interview she wasn't interested instead of giving me the impression that she was. I then asked to revoke my application and she said okay and hung up on me. I'm not normally the type to write a review and I'm sure I will find a much better place to work than Mcdonalds, but this was extremely disheartening to me and I don't understand why Courtney couldn't have given me the respect of letting me know I did not have a job there the day she interviewed me. The employees there regularly seem like they couldn't care less about being there and now I see why... I might have dodged a bullet there. Regardless, I will now be visiting another location from now on. Thanks...
Read moreTerrible! Like a lot of us, I gave up on McDonslds long ago. The sandwiches were gross and I never even cared for the breakfast. I gave them another shot as aproched this location knowing it was a newer location and I had seen the " Now 100% Beef," commercials (God only knows what they were feeding us before) Yes I saw the Wendy's, Yes I saw the Taco Bell, Yes I saw the Arby's (all right there on the same corner) I WAS IN A HURRY... I went thru the drive thru and ordered a Qt. Ponder (cheese only) #2 value meal. Paid at the 1st window, proceeded to the 2nd window..."We're waiting on the meat to cook, pull on up to the 3rd window and WAIT." and boy did I wait..and wait...and wait. Finally a man appeared at the window and offered me several different meals, none of which i ordered. As I continued to wait I watched that man walk around the parking lot offering those same meals to several other patrons with no takers in sight. Time was up and I'd had enough. I went inside leaving my car sit at window #3. I explained I'd been sitting outside for what seemed forever. I asked by several different employees, "What did you order?" Finally a woman handed me a bag and stayed under her breath, "sorry about your wait..." with all the enthusiasm that we all use when we say to one another, "How you doing?" When we dont really care or even listen for a response. As I walked back out to my car I passed window #3 and saw a young employee looking into my car as I passed by and told. "That's me and I got my food!" As I pulled away 20 minutes later I removed my sandwich which dropped grease on my lap and noticed...my fries were cold and...
