Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Riverside

Tony is RUDE! I asked to try the fish and chips from a poster on the wall. He said "Large or small" As I looked at the menu, I replied "Ugh, I was looking at the poster. I can't find it on the menu. What is the difference?" His sarcastic response..."Uh, well, the large one is bigger than the small one..." I said "Ok...I figured that much...more pieces? Larger pieces?.price difference? Then a female voice broke in and explained that the small had two pieces and the large had four. I chose the two and she completed taking my order. I was hoping she would be at the window when I pulled up. But, no such luck. Tony told me the total, took my credit card and handed me my drink. When the food was ready, he opened the window "ketchup, mustard or sauce?" "No thank you." Then he handed me the bag, said "Here", then he quickly closed the window and turned away. No good bye, have a nice day... nothing.

Nope! I am only giving one star because although the food was good, it's not worth being treated like I'm stupid. I will give credit to the female voice. She sounded like she cut in because Tony's response and attitude was not the way to...

This Wienerschnitzel location has consistently good food, but the service is also consistently average. The wait time at the Drive-Thru is a bit random as well, with it sometimes taking only a couple of minutes, while at other times (like my last visit) I sat in front of the window for nearly ten minutes before being served. Plus, the Drive-Thru itself is extremely small, and sometimes the employees literally have to come out the door and ask you to move forward to almost the next car's bumper just to keep cars from piling up in the street. It is a really tight squeeze most of the time.

As for the food, I usually get a chili dog with a polish sausage and it almost never fails to disappoint. The prices are always fairly reasonable as well, even when making substitutions. Essentially, it is a great location if you are in the mood for a hot dog and need something cheap. Again, the service is pretty hit and miss, plus the Drive-Thru times are a little unreliable, but other than that, I freely recommend this...

Employee that helped us was looking stressed out!!!! Don't know why, he only had me & my kids at the window, with nobody in line waiting & 1....one car waiting in the drive-thru. Asked him for the 5 for 5, having troubles typing it in on his register... Huffing and puffing 😂😂, dude seriously needed to chill. Got our chili dogs and Root Beer float's, great tasty drinks, luke warm corn dogs, luke warm dogs, the chili on the dog was room temperature.... Not really what I wanted to go with our root beer floats! But the kids enjoyed just having a snack & treat, sitting on the patio at night, so that's where the 3 🌟's come from.... I see the employee that helped us leaving the back door as we we're eating.... he was just stressed out because he wanted to go home! Very bad...
