KFC — Restaurant in Riverton

Well I'm not sure if anyone really reads these reviews and I have only written at best two reviews and this being the second one in my life . But here goes I drive from Draper because our KFC has closed there doors from lack of business in Draper . So I have been driving from Draper once or even twice a week for the past couple of months to the South Jordon location at 1835 W. 12600 S. The last 3 times I have been to this location I have Ordered the $20 dollar bucket meal . Six piece's of chicken 4 small sides and 4 biscuit's the meal consists of a breast, two thighs, two legs and a wing I do believe. So this being the fourth time I have ordered this meal in the past month . The first three times I ask if I can get all thighs in each order . Everytime the kid has to go back and talk to someone toake sure this can be done . The first three times okay we can do that. Today I ask for the same all thighs in my order . The kid goes back returns and lets me know they can't do that they can give me three thighs and three leg's well I let him knowthat I would be willing to pay the difference if this was the issue. He explains in a dumb way that he can't do that . I then ask again if I can pay what ever the cost is to get 6 thighs in this order he still says he can't do that . So I said okay then I guess I'm not having chicken tonight and left . As I'm pulling out I think we'll wait pull back in .I go in again a different guy comes around to help me . And I ask okay if I buy a 3 piece meal can I get all thighs in that . Even knowing is much more expensive to buy the 3 piece meal 3 pieces of chicken two small sides and a biscuit for $13 dollars . The guy tells me no it would be one thigh and a couple of legs . I do explain again I can pay the difference to get all thighs. I ask him what is the problem here with getting all thighs? He then explains to me they would have to cook another tray of chicken . What I am starting to put two and two together they are selling every last piece of chicken in there warmer before putting down another batch or tray of chicken to cook . So I said to the guy that's ridiculous . It is 7:30 p.m. and they don't close until 11:00 p.m. they would have had to cook more chicken throughout the evening anyways. Let me just say that I am thoroughly disgusted with the the way KFC had no problem with me walking out without placing an order or helping me come to any reasonable solution of eating dinner here. I had offered to pay extra to get an order that I wanted . Here is something even funnier, I worked for KFC being a cook when I was 16 to 18 years of age . At the KFC next to my childhood home when I was a kid . @ 4700 S. 4015 W. in kearns I had worked for a few fast food restraunts as a teenager and I never remember treating a customer like this . I surely will not be eating at the South Jordon KFC located at 1835 W. 12600 S. South Jordon UT. I'm 55 years old and I can say I have never been treated with such ignorance and disrespect in my life . I think of it this way the Draper location closed due to the lack of sales and business. With this kind of quality and customer service that was given to me. It's just a matter of time that KFC'S will close one store at a time . They were much better back in the day when they actually had there signature pies and corn on the cob and chicken livers breaded and deep fried. Yeah they haven't changed it up but only 👎 down . The craziest thing here is I scroll down and it's asking me if I dined in or dined out how much I spent and what did I get. And if I would recommend this to others ha ha . NOT THE SOUTH JORDON LOCATION AT 1835 W. 12600 S. After writing my review I went back and started reading all the one star reviews and just all the horrible experiences that so many people have had here . I am glad that I'm not the only one with this bad of an experience at this location . I am boycotting this location and I hope...

I read this review on FB a ND then I got online and saw their review score is 2.7 or maybe lower after this one, how sad...maybe they just need to shut down because right now their batting ZERO... Review: KFC Riverton location 1800 W 12600 S IS AWFUL!! I was there a few days ago and told it would take 30 minutes to wait for a chicken pie the other evening. The one I received a prior night was dried out and filling was only 1/2 to 2/3s full. While awaiting for my meal recently, I watched a staff take a break and go back and make herself a hamburger and she used her fingers no gloves. I addressed that to her, in that it was not sanitary which she said it was her own break meal. Should I report to the Health Dept? Staff filling in for person on break was a cook or other position. Another customer ordered and was told they did not have a double breasted chicken, he had ordered before. That customer asked for the manager and was told that she was in the restroom and be out shortly. I never saw her come out while I was waiting for my order so he waited over five minutes for certain & longer. While my order was being prepared. I watched the cook, eating french fries with his gloves on and didn’t change gloves. The floor within staff area was dirty with items all over the floor. I saw the dining area tables were not wiped off, whenever I have gone there. They do not automatically give you plasticware, napkins, nor butter for the biscuit or corn nor a straw with your meal a take out order. Nor do you have access to those items in the dining area, they are kept behind the counter. The bathroom toilet was gross in the bowl. Staff don’t know the menu when asked questions, you get a blank stare and no response. I told staff it was not ethical to knowingly substitute wings for thighs when I specifically order wings! I checked order before leaving and that happened they apologized and said they’ll get them. Then I was informed about 5 minutes later they were out of thighs! I asked for free fry for inconvenience waiting and them lying. My husband another time received legs when he ordered wings two times same order to be corrected figured they got it right until he got home. Staff didn’t show that they cared acted like nothing was wrong. My meal order receipt showed that I get a drink with my meal, but I had to ask for a cup. I arrived at 10:00 pm. I tried to order an 8 piece chicken meal. I was advised they were out of every except thighs and wings (it was late so I understood). I asked about tenders. They did have tenders for an additional $7. (Almost $1 additional per tender). It was late and we were hung so I went ahead with the order when I should have left. It was the meal deal so I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy as my 2 sides, and the meal also came with biscuits. I paid for my order at 10:03. They told me it would be 6 minutes for the biscuits to cook and asked me to pull around to a numbered stall to wait. At 10:11 a worker came with a bag to my window and asked me to confirm my order. Then he said, "I think they are pranking me, this isn't your order". At 10:23 -a full 20 minutes after I ordered I walked inside the store. A gal was just heading to the door with a bag. She said, did you have the 8 piece meal? I said yes, and she handed me the bag. I almost left but decided to check my order. I didn't see the gravy, so I pulled a everything out of the bag. I told the worker I was missing the gravy. She said okay and went to look in a warmer. Then told someone else I was missingy gravy. The other worker came over and said, "Are you sure? Sometimes they put it under the potatoes" I had literally everything spread on the counter. So then she went to get my gravy. I was finally back in my car to drive away at 10:29. That is 29 minutes get the absolute most basic item this food establishment sells. I don't know what keeps me coming back except nostalgia, but I have never had a smooth experience at this location so my review hopefully serves as a reminder to myself to stop trying. I will include pictures because these weak and tiny chicken tenders that are priced at almost FOUR DOLLARS EACH are so very a sad....
