A group of friends and I came in to get some food, and we got there around 6:50. The place was packed and three larger groups came in behind us. Since all of the tables were taken, the waitress asked for to-go orders to go first. She never gave us a reason for why we weren’t being served yet; rather, we had to overhear what she was saying to the group behind us. We could’ve understood, since she was trying to open up tables in the store, but we had a member of our group already at a table for us. It made no sense to ignore us. She kept taking the orders of the following groups which took over 30 minutes. At this point, multiple tables opened up, and we still had no explanation. One of those groups was not even a to-go order, and they were eating at the restaurant. After finally taking everyone’s order, it still took another 10 minutes to even take our order, since they were busy serving other tables (including the one that came after us). After finally asking if we could be served, it took another 5 minutes for them to take our order, with no apology or acknowledgment of how long they made us wait as we stood there, ready to order our food. The lack of apology and rude tone of the waitress really left a horrible impression of what the store is like. It’s upsetting because the dessert was actually really sweet and light, but felt ruined due to the customer service. I really won’t be coming here again, and advice others to come in large groups of over 6 if they want any sort of...
Read moreMy girls peeked in last week when we were running errands nearby and they had the doors propped wide open. This cafe is so darling we decided we needed to come back to check it out. When we returned, I expected maybe something like one of the many other dessert stores popping up everywhere - when we walked in and saw the huge variety of BEAUTIFUL decadent desserts we were blown away. This is not a donut or cookie shop - These were some of the most gorgeous, incredible desserts I’ve ever seen. And there were dozens and dozens of varieties. There is a whole case dedicated to baklavas! (The triangles and chocolate are amazing.) We enjoyed a fancy strawberry shortcake cupcake, a fruit tart, baklava, and a biscoff cake cup - they were all works of art and tasted heavenly. I hope this place does well and stays in Riverton for a very long time because it is a GEM. A great place for a date night, special girls’ lunch or outing, or a meet up with friends and they also cater. (Their menu includes some breakfast items, sandwiches, and specialty fruit drinks I would love to come back and try.) The atmosphere is fun - and of course - very pink! The plush pink chairs with pillows, the gold utensils, and rose covered walls make the atmosphere feel as fancy as the desserts. If you ever go to Zen Nails next door for pampering - do yourself a favor and pick up a fancy drink or dessert on the way to make your outing even more amazing! 😃 Highly,...
Read moreVery cool place offering a mix of desserts, from Middle Eastern to Italian to French and classic yet fancy brownies and cheesecake, there's something for everyone. I've had their flourless chocolate cake, which is what you hope to get when you take that first bite. I tried a trio of their middle Eastern pastries and I liked them. The rocky road brownie has walnuts, darn it haha, but its texture is lovely. Mini mint brownie is rich and dense, deep flavors. And the chocolate temptation cake slice is like a Forrero Rocher candy in cake form, very hazelnutty. The first bite made me think of marzipan flavor then my tongue settled on hazelnut. And no, not Nutella flavor even though it's hazelnut and chocolate. The flavors are distinct. Very nice slice. You definitely get thirsty in this place, and I had my own water bottle, so I don't know if they have a water cup station or if you can ask for any. Restrooms in the back, though, maybe if you're desperate 😅. The pinkness of the whole place is very fun and fancy. Prices represent the high quality, but yeah, not a regular place for me to drop and get a snack. Totally worth checking out if you don't get decision overwhelm too easy! Lots and lots...
