Had a bad experience at self checkout with the lady monitoring the self checkout area. She was very rude and impatient. I accidently rang up a can of yerba mate soda twice. I had 3 different flavors. I did not know how to remove the item. The lady said something i couldn't hear. I waited there a bit and she stormed over and rudely said I told you to hit the edit button which she did for me. Then I thought she removed it but it was still on my screen. She come back saying, condescending, said you need to hit remove button. I though, why she didn't do it while she was there the first time. Then I scanned the other two flavors and 3 donuts. She comes over and looks through my bag like was stealing something and said very rudely, why did you have me remove it if you was going to ring 2 more. I said most flavors are a different barcode and didn't want to mess up your inventory. She said sarcastically not here, just scan it! I was pretty upset of how she talked to me so I called the store and talked to a Brandon, who i think is the owner of the store. I explained to him my experience and he said I'm sorry you are having a bad day! ( I was thinking I was fine till my interaction with this cashier). He had no apology how I was treated. Then waiting for this apology, all he said, How can I help you today?!!. I told him nothing, I now know where his associates get there lack of customer service from....the owner of the "Friendly neighborly supermarket!. I read some google reviews and I see how defensive Brandon response to some reviews were. He sticks up for his employees and brags how great they are to the person giving a bad review. One thing the big chains have is someone of the ladder that cares about service. When the buck stops at the owner, only thing you do is write this review. Brandon, don't waste time sending a response, I already read your responses from other and see how your are....don't care about one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to get balloons as a surprise for a birthday saturday night alittle after 10 on August 26th.
The Front-End Manager Bob refused to fill up balloons. Bob stated that it was too late for balloons and he didnt have anyone to fill them up. Bob shouted this across the store at me rudely from where he was talking to the rest of the cashiers not helping anyone.
I then asked Maria at the self check out after buying a card if I could buy the balloons displayed and she said, "no, someone called 15 minutes ago to get them blown up." I said ok and walked out.
I then did a double take and went back to the store and asked Maria if it was really too late to get balloons. She gave me the same answer and said yes shes "pretty sure it was." So I walked out.
Now I know Bob is the Front-End Manager and is in charge of the Service Desk and blowing up balloons. I dont know why that night he couldnt!
Now I also know that Maria is also trained on blowing up balloons. I dont why she couldn't that night either for me.
Petersons did not seem like a 'friendly neighborhood market' that night and I'm not going back anytime soon.
This isnt my first negative experience when Bob has been the Front-End Manager.
I wish Diana had been the Front-End Manager that night I would have gotten balloons with no hassle. She's always so nice!
But you shouldnt have to hope on getting the 'nice' Front-End Manager when you go shopping there!
I hope this problem...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience here was awful. I found all my items just fine but when i went to use the self checkout i noticed i wasnt getting the full discount (4 for $11) that was displayed on some items (blueberry country time lemonade/mix and match other flavors) they were charging me 4.99 for each except one was 5.99 which is how i caught the whole thing. If youre doing the math that comes to 20.96 way more than advertised. I brought it up to the cashier she said its only for pepsi products. I then explained its advertised on this exact product on your display. so she brought a manger over to figure it out. He went over and said the same thing. I went back to the display to make sure I wasnt crazy. Took a picture and showed him. He argued with me for a minute about it but finally saw I was right. Then told her to give it to me at that price. I go to pay and only noticed after i had looked at the receipt that i still ended up paying 17.96. So she only gave me $3 off what should have been $9. I know its not a lot of money but if you are going to advertise it it needs to be honoured. Oh and then when i got home and opened the case one of the blueberry lemonade cans was punctured in the bottom and empty. So not only did i pay more than i should i didnt get the...
