McDonald's — Restaurant in Riverton

Baba ba ba baaaaa....gross. McDonald's, America's greasy gift to the rest of the world. Don't get me wrong, I frequently visit the golden arches. Sometimes I need my 99 cent drink. Sometimes I'm out with the kids and they need their chicken nugs. I have no shame about going to McDonald's, well, almost no shame. But if you were wondering which location in salt lake county gives you an experience that matches how your body feels after eating a Big Mac, then look no further. This location is the absolute worst, hands down, no questions asked. It looks ok from the outside...but oh, how we were fooled. After ordering it was difficult to find even one normal sized table that wasn't dirty. We had to sit in the play place area in the back, which both looked and felt like someone had been murdered there recently. Ketchup blood all over the floor, napkins and garbage everywhere, and just the general aroma of tears. When the food showed up the chicken tenders and the fries looked like they had been cooked far too long, and were crunchy and sad. I mean, I'm not expecting 5 star deliciousness over here, but come on. The drive through also takes an eternity and they always forget something. Honestly this location almost made me cry. I'm fairly certain that God put this location on Earth to teach his people about disappointment. So, if you can help it, only visit this location in an emergency. Some of the food is edible, and the place is obviously haunted. Trust me, you don't deserve THIS...

They recently remodeled but they need to retrain the employees. Tables were dirty and took 20 minutes to get my food. My son got a plain cheeseburger and it didn't have any meat on it! Just a bun and cheese. I got a McFlurry and it was obviously made first because it was completely melted by the time I got my food. I was inside but the drive thru had the longest line I've ever seen. With the orders taking as long as they were it's not a surprise. I will not be returning to this location, I will drive to South Jordan.

Update: My original review was probably two years ago. Sadly things are no better. Yesterday I visited this location and had just a truly terrible experience. They mis charged me for my order and when I requested they correct the amount they were extremely rude and said all they could do was refund it. I agreed to the refund and she asked for the food back. The order was correct (for once!) but I handed her the bag back anyways. They did the refund but then refused to ring up the order again correctly and serve me the food they had already prepared and handed to me. I've worked in the food industry and the only thing they can do with food that has been handed to a costumer is throw it away. I am truly astonished by the spiteful and rude way they run this business. I drove five minutes down the street to the South Jordan location and bought breakfast for my whole family. I truly will never visit this location again it always...
