Kind Baking Co. — Restaurant in Roanoke

My husband and I went to Kind Baking Co because I had found it on google and noticed it was new. I was super excited because the photos online looked so good. It's a small store and there's no seating. All of the baked goods are lined up in the front counter and Everything looked delicious. There are no labels as to what is what and the store owner was explaining what items were what to the customer ahead of us. She had to repeat that again to me and my husband and she was super friendly and nice.

We ordered the lemon blueberry mini loaf, the blackberry almond flour cookie, the chocolate brownie and the granola. I was hoping to get the chocolate chip cookie because it looked really good online, but unfortunately, it had sold out earlier (we went at 11am on a Saturday). The lemon blueberry mini loaf is full of blueberries which surprised me in a good way, but there was no lemon flavor. If the lemon flavor was stronger, it would have been a light cake that I could eat forever. The almond flour cookie was fine. My husband liked the blackberry jam.
