Porgis (the none official food critic)- Let me first say the images on the Google search for this location aren't what is served at this location. I ordered 4 flautas, but this did not come with any sides, just 4 flautas! This location gives you a small portion of tortilla chips that seem sad when brought to the table. These chips DO NOT come with salsa, queso, or any other dips. I also ordered 3 tacos at $2.50 a piece and a drink but came out paying $13.99 just for these 3 tacos and a drink. Then I also ordered steak and potatoes at $12.50 but was charged $22, ridiculous and outrageous! I was brought a plate of very thin steak strips at 1/8" thick in a sauce that was sour and looked like gravy. Then, the potatoes were small in portion size. There are no refills on fountain drinks, and nowhere does it say no refills, but yet I was charged for extra drinks.
When I was paying at the counter, I noticed people handling food with no gloves and microwaving tortillas and plates of food. I was then immediately disgusted.
In the end, if I could give this place zero...
Read moreIt's kinda mediocre and less than that considering the price. came into the restaurant at 5:30 on a Thursday evening and no one was patronizing the establishment. We had to wait a minute for a hostess to appear and she told us to sit where we wanted to. They don't serve iced tea. They do serve a mango drink that was pretty good. The salsa is non-traditional and comes in a katsup bottle. It wasn't really salsa, but a bit like hot sauce. The green sauce had a nice flavor and went well with my flautas. The flautas were crunchy and flavorless and the chicken was dry. I had asked for some avocado slices with my meal (it's listed as a side item), but never received any. Three of us, two orders of flautas and one order of quesadillas and the order total was just short of $60. It just...
Read moreI was sadly disappointed with this location. When I walked in I felt like my expectations were raised pretty high. The place looks like an authentic Hispanic local. Placing my order took a moment. Nobody seemed to care I was there so I stood by the register for 5-10 minutes before a girl who had walked by me a few times decided I could be helped. I ordered some tacos without onions. (I’m a cilantro only kinda of girl.) This is where I lost hope. I got tacos with onion and cilantro. Mostly onion actually. The meat felt boiled. Correct me if I’m wrong but carne asada is supposed to be grilled/seared/stir fried or something to the effect. The only saving grace was the sauces available. It was the flavor I needed to be able...
