We went to BB Pizza for lunch on 9/6/25 and overall had a really good experience. The restaurant was busy, and I felt so sorry for the person working the floor by herself. She was juggling (what looked like) 10 tables, including a large party, and still managed to keep things moving. She kept our drinks filled, was bussing tables, taking orders, checking people out, and bringing food out.. The person in the kitchen also jumped on the register when needed, so both of them really did a great job under the circumstances.
Our server even caught a mistake with my order before I had to say anything, apologized profusely, and already had the correct one in the works when she brought the first out. That kind of honesty and attention really stood out.
The food itself was delicious! I really appreciated all the fresh veggie options — they had way more than I’m used to. Between mushrooms, black olives, green olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and more, I was spoiled.
On top of everything, they gave us a 50% discount for the mix-up, which was so generous since we were already happy with how it was handled. I just hope we left a big enough tip, because the server truly earned it.
I don’t know if someone just didn’t show up that day, but if that’s the case, I hope management makes sure the staff gets the reliable help they deserve. These 2 worked their butts off, and customers definitely notice.
Give the 2 employees working lunch on 9/6/25 a raise — they more than earned it for keeping...
Read moreI would give this place a 4 star rating except their customer service and business practice makes no sense. They serve broasted chicken in addition to their pizza. I took a Lyft ride which cost $9 to get there. I sat for 5 minutes before a waitress came over (no one was in the restaurant other than myself at 8:30pm). I order the chicken and she informed me that we’re not selling anymore for the night because the store had slowed down and it was getting late. I confirmed with her that they didn’t close until 11pm. She agreed. I told her I took a Lyft just to come eat and that it was disappointing to stop selling an item because it had slowed down. No apology, nothing. She just asked if I stil wanted my water. I declined and ordered another ride. $20 wasted (I always tip my drivers), and no dinner. B.B.’s you lost a...
Read moreWe are here the last time that we were in Rochester and were looking forward to eating at BB's on this trip. We were not disappointed. We had a large thin crust Deluxe and it was delicious! The toppings were piled high (at least an inch) and it was coockes just right. Highly recommended.
As an aside, they have opened an Express downtown ... terrible pizza ... I cannot believe it is the same company ... I'd take a cab/Uber/Lyft to this awesome location before I ate at the Express.
10/2018 update: Ate there again in October and the pizza was just meh. Too much sauce and slightly undercooked crust. The bloody Mary was the bomb though ... it even included a little glass of beer. Maybe the next time in Rochester if we go there we try...
