Fuzzys Italian Ice — Restaurant in Rochester

We have wanted to stop here since it opened, finally made it! We wanted the bubble waffle cone, but at 1:00pm when we visited, they told us they were out. While it’s great they are busy and have lots of customers, we were a little confused why they couldn’t just pour more batter and make more? The waffle irons were right there. 🤷‍♀️ They have a very nice selection of Italian ice flavors. We were hoping for the bubble waffle with custard. They custard is soft serve and all vanilla with flavor topping dispensed on top. It’s very interesting to me, and delicious too. We also saw several types of pastries- we tried one that they told us was Egyptian. I unfortunately didn’t get the name, but it was very good. The outside was crispy like a noodle almost and inside was sweet with nuts. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return and try a bubble waffle cone next time. Lots of inside seating, and outdoor options for the warm summer days. Parking available in front, in near by parking ramps and it’s located just off the city bus route too.

No photos because we forgot to take some :( We got the 3 layer Italian ice, a mango fuzzy drink with mango popping boba, and a chocolate Ice cream cone with Oreos. Everything was really great! The mango Italian ice has Mango chunks in it which is so good! The blue raspberry was tart but not too sour! The watermelon was too sweet for me but my friend liked it :) We miss-communicated about the ice cream order and got it in a regular waffle cone instead of a bubble cone but when we explained they fixed it without being upset with us and didn’t charge us for an extra even though it was def our fault! Have you ever walked into a restaurant having one of those days we all have hoping to just not have the person behind the counter add to it. Thinking even someone Monotone with no personality or people skills would be a win. That’s how I entered Fuzzys in hopes a sweet treat would perk me up a bit. Little did I know the gentleman behind the counter was as amazing as the custard. Truly a warm hearted amazing experience. And the treats were on par with the service! I can’t rank these guys high enough! AMAZING in every way and the kind of place and people I would go out of my way to visit when craving a cold treat. 100% two spoons up recommended!!!
