Our family went to get beef tongue Machete’s and beef sopes, we got large horchata waters and it was $90. One of the machetes was mixed with pork. The other orders were ok. But I’m allergic to pork. The horchata waters were hot, when I went back to ask for ice they said they were out. I would have appreciated it if she had told me so that I could get something cold. I did call and informed them of the situation at first a gentleman answered the phone and I explained everything to him. He then gave the phone to a woman and I explained everything to her, she told me that they did not have (carnitas) at the time. I explained that the meat was mixed and that I’m allergic to pork . She then said return the food and I will make another. We do not live in Rochester and I did let her know. She then said come back another day and you can get another machete free of charge. I made sure to tell her to take a look at her meat before they serve more and others could be allergic also. I’m aware that some foods get a little bit of other stuff but my whole machete was a mix of the pork (white hard meat with lard). And beef tongue...

My usual spots were closed for the night and after reading positive reviews I decided to give this place a try. I called at 1105 pm and placed an order for quesabirria tacos (16$ for 4) and chicken tamales (3$ per 1 tamale). Due to construction it was a bit difficult to reach the truck and when I got there I was told to wait despite the person on the phone telling me 12 minutes. I waited until 1143, and they were not busy. No appoligies or explanation as to why such a long wait when I called ahead and ordered. Finally my food was ready and despite the long wait I was looking forward to trying. Very big disappointment 😞 The worst quessabirria tacos I ever had. The tacos were made up of flavorless, sauceless pot roast meat with onions cheese and cilantro. The consume was watered down with an odd residual taste. Best tacos in Minnesota! As soon as I looked at my tacos and rice in my takeout container I knew these were going to be fire. I moved to Minneapolis area in 2017 and it's taken me this long to find good authentic Mexican food. I live an hour and half from this place and will make the drive to Rochester just to smell these tacos again lol. It was freezing cold out and they told me to go wait in the car and they brought my food to the car when it was done. So friendly as well. I can't wait to eat here again!
