My family and I are at the Mayo Clinic here in Rochester, MN and we decided that we would like to have some pizza for supper, since came downstairs and was exiting the building and saw a Pizza Hut delivery driver coming in. I thought, hey perfect timing, so I let her conduct here transaction with their customer so I could ask the driver what do I tell them to deliver right here where we are standing. She told me to tell them St. Mary's Hospital, Main entrance, 2nd St. Ok, sounds good to me considering that I'm 1000 miles from home and it came straight from her mouth. I call the number she gave me, and the girl that answered confirmed my phone #, and asked for an address. I repeat what the driver said to tell her, and she asked me for the complete address. I told her I don't know rhe complete address, and that I'm repeating what the delivery driver told me. She said she can't complete the transaction without it, to which I reply that they have a delivery driver leaving right now and that I'm quite certain people have it delivered often (It's only a mile down the road from their location). It's totally my fault, I know that, but in my line of work I would have that address known to memory. I assumed common sense was common, and that's my mistake. So I called Domino's and told them the same thing the delivery driver told me and they told me they'd be here I. 20 min. I accept that it's my fault, but this is a majorly busy place, it's the only Mayo Clinic on 2nd St, and it's the only main entrance, but nonetheless I shod have had...
Read moreordered pizza yesterday when the delivery driver got here automatically realize I was missing items. Called and talked to the store manager. I think her name is Shelby. she was a delight. She did send out the missing items. After I hung up with her, however the kids started asking for pizza when I went to feed them I realized that the two pizzas that I had were not the pizza that I even ordered. Call Back. She informed me that her GM would be in today and to call back and talk to them to see what they could do. Just got off the phone with the GM Allan, The pizzas will be remade and sent to me, which is great thank you. However, Allan’s customer service skills and attitude is very rough around the edge. Should we say? He was very short in conversation very quick to cut me off and then when the conversation was pretty much over when he told me OK fine I’ll send new pizzas out. They’ll be there in 30 minutes. I said OK thank you he said yeah and hung up. I’m not used to this type of customer service seeing that this is the very first time I’ve ever ordered from this particular Pizza Hut here in Rochester. I’ve never had any issues or problems with my order or customer service at the north Pizza Hut. At this rate, maybe I will only order pizza when I’m at work or drive to the northside if this is how this restaurant is...
Read moreAfter a long day helping care for a loved one at the Mayo Clinic on Memorial Weekend the last thing I wanted to do was go out to try and find an open place to eat so I figured I would order a pizza to be delivered to my hotel in Downtown Rochester. The pizza was cooked quickly but the delivery was transferred to Doordash, which I had not selected as who I wanted delivering my pizza. The Doordash map then showed the driver driving to another part of the city, not directly to my hotel. I presumed that perhaps they had another delivery as well as mine or they got lost. I tried calling and texting the driver with the Doordaah provided number but no one responded. I then was notified that the driver was near but having trouble locating my address. I ended up walking around the outside of the hotel to track down the driver. By the time I received the pizza it was cold and I was too tired and hungry to go through the process of calling and having a new one prepared for me to pick up in person so I just heated up slices in my hotel room microwave. 1-Star....would NOT recommend getting it delivered if you would like...
