We've lived in Rochester for almost 13 years and have driven past snappy stop about a million times. We decided it was time to see what it was all about.
First off the entrance is odd. Looks like you can order in 2 different lines? After going through it, I'm still unsure what the proper path should be. I was so confused I missed the order menu stop altogether and ended up at the window.
Service was awesome. The guy at the window was patient with us while we flubbed our way through the order without a menu (since we drove right past it).
The food took a bit in coming out but everything was hot and fresh. Fries were floppy but salted nicely and the burgers were juicy and tasted great. My wife said hers was very "saucy" but mine was good. The kids loved their #4 combos. The combos were a lot of food.
Thanks for a great meal. We'll be back again and I won't miss the ordering stop next time.
2x #4, 1 x #2 and 1 x #1 combo came to $52. We were stuffed...even...
Read moreI have never had such a HORRIBLE experience in a facility in my life. The person who was checking us out was a complete disaster. We were never greeted, and all he had to say to us was the price of our food. When we asked questions about the rest of our food because we only received half, he shut the window and ignored us. We were polite to the staff, but we were treated like absolute trash. Not only was our food pretty much thrown at us from the window but every item cold and unseasoned. Even with all of this, he also still had nothing to say to us. We had to ask for our drink's multiple times that was behind the window politely and that same person tried to charge us for the food of the person who was behind us. I can understand having a bad day but when you start taking your bad day out on your customers, then you shouldn't be working the register where you talk to people every day. I am...
Read moreI’ve stayed away from snappy stop for the last 15 years because of what previous employees used to tell me back in HS. But I went to school with the owners son and he encouraged me to come try it for myself, so I brought the family last week and tried it for myself. They have a small menu but that’s a good thing, they focus on what they are known for. The employees were friendly, also the owner was friendly and working hard right along side his employees. The food itself was decent for the price. A good value for your dollar. Not the best burger I’ve ever had but it was good and a good size for the combo price. My only critique is the french fry portion could be bigger. Ordered a large and it looked like a small too me. Other than that I think the food offers good value food for a low cost. Definitely worth a trip for a quick meal and a visit to a Rochester staple in...
