Dave's Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Rock Hill

My very first time I came as when the raffle and prizes were happening I guess maybe it's the first grand opening of this location, I learned more about it as I was taking the bite of the 2 silder meals and I had absolutely a huge pleasure what I tasted it was mind blowing, had no the no spice what's amazing is even no spice it was hot! And perfect! The taste of the toppings such as the coleslaw the pickles coming around the sauce on top of it it's very amazing, I loved cheese fries BEST QUALITY of cheese fries I never had around this area of rock hill!! The sauce cup you get with is fun of it The cleanliness of this place is AMAZING! I was overwhelmed with so many emotions, the employees are hard working, I know it's such a challenge to work for this places for fast food thank you everyone!! My son is addicted to Dave’s, he always raves about and said it’s the BOMB. My husband decided to order some food today and he is also another big fan. I wasn’t feeling chicken today so I saw they had cauliflower and I absolutely love cauliflower. I ended up ordering the single cauliflower tender light spice and small cauliflower top loaded fries. The single tender when I opened the box I was disappointed on how small it was, it was more of a floret vs what the picture looks like which was not what I got. However it was so freaking delicious that I wanted more. The spices were perfect and it wasn’t greasy and the crunch on that bad boy was spot on. Regardless the size I will order that again and I hope it stays on the menu because that will be my go to. The fries with the cauliflower on top was amazing. The cheese fries took me back to a place in Jersey that I used to frequently visit and it was a moment. The fries were soft with the perfect bite to it and the melted cheese was just the right amount. I haven’t physically been to Dave’s yet but my husband and son say the service is always short of amazing. Everyone is just so nice and they makes sure you have everything you need. First, the quality of the chicken was superb. The “hot” was tasty and the “extra hot” had a great kick. It was the first time we have tried Dave’s and we found it on DoorDash and ordered to try something new. We didn’t know anything about Dave’s.

Now, we also ordered a Reaper. That is where we drew the line. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD HOT. I don’t know if they are always that hot or we just ordered it on a night that was extra hot, but I wouldn’t touch that chicken again with a 10 foot pole. My husband and I both love spice, and this absolutely destroyed us.

The moment it hit my mouth the way the spice went through my nose was overwhelming. In mere seconds my mouth was on complete fire. I couldn’t run to the fridge for milk fast enough. Nothing worked. I was in agony for a solid 30 minutes before it became partially tolerable. My husband had 3 bites and was also dying. Once it hit our stomachs our insides were burning. My husband started sweating profusely and was moaning in pain. We thought I might need to take him to the hospital. Then he started vomiting. After a couple hours he started to feel relief. It was intense. DO NOT GET THE REAPER.
