This location was busy, Labor Day weekend. The wait was long but was expected. The food that was order was asked to be cooked well done. The appetizer (shrimp) came out hot and fresh. Unfortunately the steak and the hamburger with onions and mushrooms came out with blood on both plates and when the meat was cut into from the same utensils we ate from, the meat was raw and only cooked on the outside. We sent the food back. This is where the review goes bad. The same exact meat that was cut into was put back on the grill to finish cooking. I was not please with that although the other person was. The hamburger steak was cooked very well with no gravy and hardly any onions or mushrooms. I ate the broccoli and sent the entree back. The manager came and asked what was the reason I sent the plate back and I explained I was not comfortable about the cross contamination and the quality of the food. He said that they will always recook the same food that is sent back as long as it’s not bitten into😳. As for myself I would never eat there again because of that. I felt the kitchen staff was under pressure about the swiftness of getting the food out. Great customer service.

Tonight was pretty terrible. I never really had a bad meal so I just update my reviews all the time .... I don't like posting badreview's and it wasn't the waitresses fault but the cook must have been having a bad night or maybe I just had a very unlucky meal because my broccoli was mush, both me and my son ordered our steaks medium and as they sat blood leaked onto our plates. My son never leaves a bite of steak and he only ate one bite said it tasted funny. I tried to cover it and a one but the blood actually was coming out of the A1 sauce. I paid for extra Parmesan sauce on the side and it was ice cold. I told the waitress and she offered me free dessert but honestly I just wanted to pack up everything go home heated up in the microwave and call it a night. we were there at 8 by the time the waitress checked on us with our food it was 9... I paid for my food tips my server because it wasn't her fault just thought it was weird that no manager came over after I told the waitress and she offered me free dessert it was just like oh well. No real customer service and not even at I'm sorry. 50 bucks to bring it home and microwave...😣

I have never written a review before, but LongHorn Steakhouse is worth it. First off the staff was great, the perfect example of what I think of when the phrase 'Souther Hospitality' comes up. Attentive, quick and accurate, exactly what I would want in a wait staff. The steak was perfectly cooked, so tender and juicy I don't think that I've had anything better. There is a saying that a good steak doesn't need any steak sauce, I feel it would be an insult to this steak to have any sauce in the same zip code. I truly thought that I had reached flavor nirvana... That is until I had dessert. I didn't just order a cheesecake I order a little slice of divine heaven. It's one of the most beautiful and delicious things I've ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. 5 out of 5 would travel halfway across the country for again.

We live about 10 minutes from this location, and have been coming here for years.

Tonight we had the worst dining experience in over 5 years at any restaurant, and there have been quite a few bad ones.

They were slightly busier than normal for a Tuesday night and had about a 15 minute wait. No issue there.

Everything was normal until after our server took our order, at which point they vanished into thin air.

We enjoyed the bread and my fiance finished her drink. Noone showed up to ask if we needed refills. After about 10 minutes I flagged down an older African American gentleman (that later turned out to be the manager) and requested a refill.

By the time the food came out I had finished my drink. Both orders were overcooked, and my fiancé's order was missing the sautéed onions she had requested.

The server that dropped off the food was not the one we ordered with. She dropped off the food, made note of the missing sautéed onions, and disappeared.

She did not ask if we needed anything else. I really wanted ketchup for my fries. And my drink was still empty. When noone check on us for an additional 10-15 minutes I flagged down the same manager and requested refills and ketchup.

By the time my refill and ketchup arrived my fiancée had finished her drink again... This was conveniently ignored.

We finished our meal about 15 minutes later. Both our drinks empty at this time. This is when the sautéed onions finally arrived. Too late for them to be part of our meal.

We had been here for about 55 by now, were fed-up and ready to leave. At this point our waitress magically reappeared and asked if everything was OK. We told her about the issues with the food, turned down a free desert and asked for a to go box for leftovers and the check.

The box arrived right away. Shortly after the manager stopped by, said they had had an issue and that he had been keeping an eye on things as a restult. Then he disappeared. At this point we did not yet know that he was the manager.

The check took an additional 30 minutes to arrive, at which point I requested to speak to a manager.

Imagine my surprise when the same gentlemen showed up to our table. When I mentioned that this had been the worst dinning experience we had had in years, he went into a spiel about us having had a full meal and he wasn't going to comp it. He was extremely rude and compative.

We never asked for a discount. We never asked for the meal to be comped. We would have liked an acknowledgement that the service had been incredibly bad, and an APPOLOGY, not a lecture about them having an issue and us having had a full meal.

We will not be back. Plenty of other options...

The worst experience we’ve ever had...and we go often to Longhorn, however we will NEVER go back to the Rock Hill location! To start things off, we did their “call ahead seating” at 512pm, the hostess stated that there was a 20 min wait, so we took off to Rock Hill..checked in as soon as we got there...at 640pm, I finally asked when would we be seated and why do they offer call ahead if it doesn’t work. Finally seated at 7pm!! Almost 2hrs of waiting outside in the direct HOT sun, all we wanted was a nice cold glass of tea. Waitress took our drink and appetizer order, came back 10mins later with our teas, began to hand them out, and she dropped my husbands drink off of her serving tray onto the table and his lap!!! While cleaning the table up, with our help, she made the comment “oh, I think it got on you a little bit”...my husband’s right side of his button up shirt was soaked, and his right leg was wet from sweet tea. So we kept our calm and cool about the situation, as accidents happen! 15 mins pass, and we have to ask for a replacement tea for him as she never brought him anything else to drink after spilling the 1st one on him! We sat for a while with our glasses empty and no site of our waitress. Our food came, and my order was wrong, my son’s mac-n-cheese was dried up and clumpy! I specifically asked for NO onions on my prime rib sandwich. Our waitress came back around and asked if we wanted a to-go box, I said no because I asked for no onions and the sandwich was covered in onions and the cheese wasn’t even melted to the bread, and was cold...I wanted my check and I was done with that place!! She had the cook make another sandwich, at this point I was already disgusted and didn’t want. So she brings the bill out, and stated that she took off the price of our appetizer because of all that had happened (despite the fact that I had a coupon for a free appetizer!) and then made the comment “at least you get another sandwich to take back home with you”! I was completely over it at this point! I paid the check, and even tipped 18%, and wrote the experience off! I will NEVER go back to the Rock Hill location! I understand you’re busy, but there’s no excuse for what all we went through, and then to leave the restaurant hungry, after paying $60 for food, is...

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and waited about 45 minutes to be seated for a party of 5 which isn’t bad at all. Waitress came over pretty quickly and took our drink orders. After that service went quickly downhill. No bread until we asked. No refills until we waived her down. I expect to be check on periodically when waiting for food to see if anything is needed but that was not the case here. The salads we ordered never came and at no point did they bring it even after we mentioned it was missing. Food finally came out but they never cleared the bread trays from the table so we struggled to get the plates down and the waitress didn’t even bother to ask to take them out of the way. After the food was delivered, she never returned to make sure the steaks were cooked properly- which they weren’t. Requested medium and they came out very well done. So my daughter ended up eating off our plates. The waitress never returned until after we all finished eating and then asked how everything was. After we explained the errors it was like “oh you want to have it recooked? “ not at this point cause we’ve all finished eating. Asked just to be comped for the missed items and the over cooked steaks. Had the readjust the check twice. We waited another 30 minutes just to pay. The manager never even came over to apologize. Poor customer service.

Perhaps it’s so busy and they have low staffing? Who knows but it needs to be improved. I won’t mention the waitress because I feel like she was possibly handling too many tables. And that’s on management too. They need to make sure they aren’t just standing around but helping the servers.

Mind you I told the waitress we had to travel 2 hours to get home and waited FOREVER to just to pay the bill. I wrote this review while waiting.... for my bill and food.

UPDATE: manager on duty was “Megan” and it appeared the waitress had to validate why she needed to adjust our bill. Brought the NEW bill not explaining how they adjusted since they decided to remove our Military discount; not the manager or the waitress. Again- waited almost 20 minutes for the new bill. This place definitely needs Customer service training as i read some of the same complaints in...
