Stopped here for date night. The service was very slow, seemed like the waiter was overwhelmed with his job. There were a number of things that made this visit less than desirable. First, our waiter was chatty, we weren't, almost felt like he was on our date. Second, he started to tell us about what things he thought we might not like. The food we selected was just poor in taste and quality. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was 13 dollars for five, and they tasted like they were overcooked, almost to the point of being burnt. The 12 ounce ribeye was tasteless and very unevenly cooked. I ordered medium rare and part of it was, but a large part of it was well and a nother part almost completely raw. The mash potatoes were the highlight for, because it actually had some flavor. My wife's ribeye looked like a flank stake cut it was so thin and she ordered medium, but it was so thin, it was practically well done, with a fine line of pink. She got a combo meal and the crispy shrimp were exactly that, crispy, flavorless. She also had baby back ribs which were over done, but did have a BBQ sauce that made up for it slightly. When we were done our waiter proceeded to tell us what we should have ordered differently and move on to a pitch for how they have such a variety of foods, some that aren't on the regular menu and how it is such a better deal to get the salad bar than what we ordered. The whole way round we realize was a mistake to go here. Its pretty bad when the only thing we can say is the mashed potatoes tasted ok.

I guess it is just me and the fact that I refuse to accept mediocre food and poor service. The service is simply because no one wants to work anymore (without being paid more than the service they provide) but the food? Completely the restaurants fault. Is it the money? I paid $15.95 for a small piece of Talipia and what now passes as shrimp, barely 1/4" in diameter. But I look at these great reviews and realize most people accept this, perhaps even expect this. Most of these chain restaurants are all the same: small portions, poor quality, and high prices but day after day there are the customers lined up outside waiting to be underwhelmed. Want to know how to change this? Stop going and stop accepting mediocrity! Stand up for what you feel is right. But sadly, that will never happen. I know the chain will not close their doors because I refuse to return, but at least I feel somewhat vindicated knowing my money will no longer support substandard quality. Look hard at the picture, those were actually served as shrimp, all 4 of them. I almost felt embarrassed for the server. The grilled zucchini arrived with 4 pieces and he felt so bad, he went and got more. But he shouldn't have had to. That order should have never left the kitchen.

Order for pickup, arrived park in the pickup spot called like the sign said, lady on the phone in a rude tone says we don't bring it out you have to come inside short staff, I explained I was just doing what the sign said she hangs up before could ask where I needed to go and if my order was ready or not! Went inside got directed to the bar area for pickup where the bartender was busy, she finally got to me this was after my pickup time she says it's not ready, standing in the way at the bar waiting. Finally get my order 15 minutes late , she says the extra sour cream and silverware is in the bag, gives me a tiny cup of soda that cost 2.49 so expected a large cup not a kiddie cup. Went to my car checked before I left no silverware no extra sour cream! Rude when I went back in asking for the items ask well how much sour cream do I want I said the extra I ask for only received a table spoon full in a little cup really soo glad I left a tip online ( which I should not have done) for you to do absolutely nothing! Will not be back. Oh the food was okay a little overcooked.

Unfortunately, I’m addicted to the Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar and this is the only one close to me. I have been here three separate times between the hours of two and four when it’s slow and all three times was not a good experience sadly. Every time I’ve come, I stood in the lobby, waiting to be seated while I watch anywhere from 2 to 4 employees walking around, making iContact, but not coming to me. I’m assuming they’re waiting for the person assigned to the job but I owned a business and I would be furious if my employees didn’t help a customer that wasn’t being helped. The salad bar does usually have wilted brown pieces of lettuce and I just took that as I’m coming late, so I guess I can’t expect fresh. The biggest issue I have with this location is the service. Besides being ignored at the front door, Someone takes forever to get to the table and take the drink and then when it comes to the check, all three times I had to stand at the bar looking for my server. All three times I could’ve easily walked out and not paid my check, but I did. It seems like nobody wants to help anybody there and it’s not a team. This last time, I ordered a quesadilla with no guacamole and and ice water, with lemons on the side. The server brought my plate with guacamole on it and said “oh!… Well, I figured since the cook didn’t put it on the actual quesadilla it’s OK . Then I go to grab my water and there’s one lemon and it’s not on the side but, in the water as well as a black piece of dirt so I ate the quesadilla making sure it didn’t touch the guacamole and left. Whoever the manager is between two and four should be on the floor. If there is one. I’m not quick to leave a bad review but three times with the same uncomfortable experiences says a lot. I don’t want any compensation, I don’t want free food. I don’t want anything out of this. I just think the owner should be aware that he should look into a better team that wants to work. Including the manager. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Edit: so I went back today and received service from a gentleman named Quay, and I finally received great service. He was very friendly. He came to me within a couple minutes only of me sitting to get my drink order and made sure that my experience was great. I only hope to run into him if and...

Terrible experience. Problem number one was our server Diamond. She first started by standing 4 feet away from our table trying to ask us what we wanted to drink. I figured maybe she has a cold or something and doesn't want to get to close. When I asked her to repeat herself because we couldn't hear her she seemed immediately annoyed, but still ok let's let this ride out. We gave her our drink orders, 10 minutes later we finally got them. We ordered lemoades, fruit punch and water but received no water. I thought it was strange that it took so long but still, lets see how this goes. 15 minutes later she comes back to take our order, still no water and my lemonade is empty by now. My wife and I had two burgers and garden bar as the side. My daughter had kids Mac and cheese with grapes. 30 minutes passed still no food. And my drink was still empty and she never offered to refill it. Then I noticed that there were other people in the restaurant having the same problem. They had been there longer than us and had not received their order. We got there at 3:50pm, we did not receive our food until 4:45pm. By then my wife and I were irritated. My daughter's grapes never arrived, which is funny because they literally take them right from the salad bar. Our Drinks were not refilled and the food was horrible! At this moment people in the place are leaving because no one is paying attention to service at all. One guy claiming to be the manager is treating other customers like their being jerks for not being happy with the service. He took no ownership at all. Diamond, in her professional manner, snapped at my wife for complaining about her service. We left and told the manager that this experience was horrible and he should be ashamed for running such a shabby team. We will not be back and we loved Ruby Tuesday's but man I have never experienced such poor service. All thumbs down (from a secret shopper...

*2/23/22 update - I had to update this review from 5 stars because I come here often for the salad and I'm seeing a reoccurring issue. Not only do I come here weekly but I bring my girlfriends and tell anyone that will listen about the great "healthy" options here. However, the last 3 times I've been to this Rock Hill location, there is always an issue with upkeep of the salad bar. Last night an older guy was "monitoring" it and got annoyed when customers asked him to refill items that were low. In addition to that, he's carrying multiple bowls of uncovered fresh greens in his arms, with no mask. The person attending to fresh food should be gloved and masked. Anyone approaching that area should be masked - it's still a pandemic going on. Also, since there are fresh items on the bar, it should be maintained regularly. Eggs should not be mixed with chickpeas, for example. If it happens, it should be cleaned and replaced. He looked over the bar and made no effort to clean it up. He showed no initiative or pride in his work. There are really good options in their salad bar but upkeep and placement of it need to be considered more carefully before someone becomes really ill. I started out to comment on the less than enthusiastic employee but now realize it's really a management issue.I see there are many other comments about upkeep of the salad bar. If they don't care about the upkeep of a popular feature at the front of the restaurant, imagine how the kitchen must look🤮 I hear Golden Corral is better I'm going to check them out.

I go for the salad and take it home. They have a bunch of great...
