McDonalds headquarters needs to start checking on their establishments... Maybe go through the drive thru and check on how long it takes to be acknowledged. When they're not acknowledged and they just finally pull up to the window to see what's going on, repeat the order after initially making it (music in the ear buds can be distracting to the employee taking your order) and make sure they got it right... Then check your receipt again and make sure it's right. When you are forced to pull up to the 3rd window (mind you... when there's NO line), check your food again, of course TO MAKE SURE IT'S RIGHT... This would prevent you having to sit in the drive thru for another 30 mins... Ridiculous. Always the same song and dance with this particular establishment, I'm sure there are plenty others around the country just as terrible as this one.
I think to maintain the integrity of the employee's (you know, so they ACTUALLY have to work like the majority of us people), take away the microphone, forcing them to take orders when the cars pull up. Think that would be extremely productive and the customers would get their food in a timely manner ("fast food"), completely avoiding the 30 min wait times, waiting on the employees to finish BSing. We all know sometimes things have to be prepared, but it's common sense to acknowledge the customer and communicate what the wait is... Unfortunately tonight, and many other times there was no reason for the wait, and tonight the kid just laughed and said, "sorry about that... I can take your order"... And still managed to screw it up due to the music in his ears muffling the sound of our voice ordering...
Read moreMcNasty would be a more suitable name for this place. My experience started out with a more than 20 minute wait, just to order. It was another 10 minutes before I received my "food". Even though the line was long, it was lunch time and I am patient, however CFA would've cleared the line in half that time. Next came the ordering process. Despite the flashing roadside sign and numerous window advertisements, when I went to order the McRib, I was told they no longer sell them. I mentioned the advertisements and the overpaid staff member said she would check with her manager. After checking, I was told they were out of them. So, disappointed, as it was the ONLY reason I picked McNasty, I ordered something else. The screen stated my total was $7 and change. I get to the 1st window and I'm told my order is now $8 and change. I questioned it and was told that $8 and change was correct. This is a shady business practice. I move to the 2nd window, where I collect my drink and after another 3 minutes my food. After a quick glance in the bag, I left. There was NO napkins in the bag. The fries were dumped inside and when I got to the burger, it was COLD. To add insult to injury, my drink spilled everywhere in my car and on me due to the 5" CUT in the cup. My cupholder was filled too. I will NEVER go back to this McNasty again, if I go to any of them at all. These people want $15 an hour for this!?!?!?!? How about you pay us 1st responders in EMS this wage for working 24 plus hours SAVING LIVES?!?!?! Hell, we don't start out with that much pay an hour and we actually risk our lives saving these overpaid rude...
Read moreNever before have I left a negative review, nor felt the need to speak negatively of an establishment (let alone a fast-food restaurant.) That being said; I work in food. I understand the stress of being busy, or swamped at a less-than-desirable hour. However, when costumers come in - we serve them. This does not seem to be the case at this McDonald’s. I arrived at this location at 11:30pm (the location closes at 12.) There was a moderate amount of people in drive, and I normally hate to be the person who comes in right before close but - as someone who works in food - 30 minutes before closing is not ridiculous by any standard. However, when myself and my friend arrived, after waiting a period of time to reach the speaker: We were told that this McDonald’s was “no longer serving costumers at this time.” I attempted to ask why, and was presumably redirected to a manager who quite rudely and curtly told me “we don’t serve costumers at this time anymore you will need to leave the drive-thru.” For lack of a better phrase: I had to laugh. This location is a joke and better management on both a store and I’m assuming district level needs to be located and hired. Previous management needs to be reprimanded and fired. At the end of the day: It’s really nothing worth losing sleep over, however it’s quite ridiculous to turn away paying costumers because you cannot successfully schedule an adequate amount of staff in order to accommodate an influx...
