La Esquinita De Oro restaurant — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Restaurant area and Latin female took order and it was hard because she barley spoke english. I ordered 5 basic tacos. Waited 25 minutes, I was the only customer in the place. During this time a woman came in and walked to the back and made her food and brought up behind cash register and started eatting before I got my food. Ummmm, why? I walked around store then came back to counter and still waited. Finally after this long wait she brought food to me as I was gonna eat five tacos all by myself. The order was to go. So, I waited another 5 plus minutes for her to make it to go. Then waited another 5 plus minutes for her to ring it up and the other girl that was eatting had to come help her. Well, with all this said they told me It was $17 dollars and change. So, you are telling me its almost $18.00 for ONLY 5 Basic Tacos? So, thats almost $3.40 plus for one taco. Major rip off, but not with me. They told me these are Mexican Tacos. Lol I dont care what kind of tacos they are not paying $18.00 for tacos. I walked out. horrible...

It may be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. As far as I am concerned, this lady is the most rude and unperfectionist person I have ever encountered. I was insulted for questioning her pricing for two pieces of bread at a price of $7+. The words that were used against me were every bad and race-related word you could imagine. I worked for customer service for more than a decade, and someone like that should not be allowed to work in the public sector. I will definitely contact the state food board regarding the sanitation of this establishment. I saw bread pick up from the floor and put back on the rack and the lady wasn’t even wearing gloves or a hair net....

I waited 10 minutes for my order to be taken. I then waiting 30 minutes to just find out my order had not been started because the cook was not there yet. I was not told before I ordered that the cook was not there yet. The time was 1:30pm I don’t understand how the cook had not arrived yet. Costumer service is the worst I have ever experienced and I work in costumer service and am more lenient because I understand. But this is just extremely bad......... from the owners to the workers clearly unorganized . I can’t speak for the food quality because I left but if you’re willing to wait an hour, For a most likely average...
