A Gem of Lebanese Cuisine and Hospitality

I cannot praise «Wally's Cafe» enough for its exceptional quality, warm ambiance, and outstanding service. As a loyal patron, it has become our favorite family restaurant and a go-to place for business meetings and negotiations. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with an inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.

One of the main reasons we keep coming back is the remarkable manager, Mr. Walid, and his wonderful spouse. Their genuine care and attention to detail create an unforgettable dining experience. Mr. Walid's personal touch is truly commendable, as he ensures every guest feels special and well taken care of. He always greets us with a warm smile, engaging conversation, and a sprinkle of lighthearted humor, setting the perfect tone for a delightful evening.

The menu at «Wally's Cafe» is a true celebration of Lebanese cuisine. Each dish is crafted with utmost precision, showcasing the rich flavors and vibrant spices that define the culinary traditions of Lebanon. Whether you're a fan of savory classics like falafel, hummus, or tabbouleh, or prefer indulging in succulent kebabs and aromatic rice, the menu offers a diverse range of options to satisfy any palate.

One highlight that we simply cannot resist is the traditional Lebanese dessert, the heavenly pahlava. It is the sweet finale that leaves us craving more with its delicate layers of filo pastry, fragrant nuts, and just the right amount of syrup. This thoughtful gesture from Mr. Walid truly exemplifies his dedication to providing an authentic experience, going above and beyond to ensure his guests' satisfaction.

Furthermore, «Wally's Cafe» is the perfect place for both casual gatherings and important business affairs. The serene environment, coupled with attentive service, allows for uninterrupted conversations and a comfortable setting for negotiations. The staff members are professional, discreet, and always at hand when needed, enhancing the overall experience of dining at «Wally's Cafe».

In conclusion, «Wally's Cafe» is a true gem among restaurants, showcasing the best of Lebanese cuisine with its flavorful dishes, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality. Thanks to the exceptional management of Mr. Walid and his spouse, each visit feels like a special occasion. Whether you're seeking a cozy family dinner or a successful business meeting, «Wally's Cafe» is an...

My company ordered Wally's for a lunch meeting, and no one had anything good to say about it. -Gyro meat tastes like some bland factory made stuff that came in a bag and was microwaved, it wasn't the savory spicy stuff that is commonly expected from a mediterranean place. The pieces were all little pre-formed cuts and not the traditional greasy delicious shavings that most greek places have. -chicken "shawarma" was likewise flavorless and seemed like something you would buy at Costco and then regret. It looks like its been seasoned, but just tastes like nothing. -the hummus was acidic and bitter tasting like it was expired. -the salad was low quality restaurant supply greens with a handful of chopped tomatoes, half a handful of red onion, and a small side cup of feta cheese. -tzatziki sauce was like watery plain yogurt with no distinct flavors. -the only thing that had any flavor was a container of straight up pureed garlic, I guess to just smear on everything else once you realize there's no seasoning -the dry old low quality "pita" tortillas (it was too thin and flat to call it bread) was delivered in the store-bought bags they came in. They didn't even pretend to toast them and put them in a foil container. -the rice...had bits of carrot mixed in to give it the illusion of being seasoned. How do you screw up rice? -the baklava was some dry old store bought stuff also, so dry and mostly made of peanuts it crumbled to pieces just picking it up. Tasted like dusty stale granola.

I feel sorry for anyone whose first impression of Lebanese/Mediterranean/Greek food is this place. There are some fantastic family run greek places between Rocklin and Sacramento, and this isn't one of them. Don't believe their lies about anything being made from scratch here, its all bulk restaurant...

My friends drive all the way from Vancouver, WA & always ask for food from Wally's Cafe. Every trip must include a meal from Wally's!!! Friends coming next week again, so we will have to visit Wally's once more

So, this last trip, after 9 plus hours of driving, they were greeted with their favorite pomegranate chicken & all the goodies that Wally's makes...It is perfectly seasoned. Not too sweet and always moist with plenty of delicious seasoned rice & and a generously made salad w all the veggies & lightly dressed vinaigrette, plus the homemade sauces, pita bread & the complimentary lentil soup. We had light & creamy hummus, tzatziki, labne garlic sauce (excellent) & dolmas too. Of course no meal at Wally's is complete without their home made baklava. Soooo much better than the kind people buy off the shelf.... NO comparison! Wally's is light & flaky layers w bits of pistachios. Heaven!!! But, do try their pomegranite chicken.....juicy & never too sweet... All their food is reasonably priced, generous portions and of high quality & taste. Always made with love....

Love Wally's & all of his family & the neighbor folks he also employs... This is a great neighborhood place with a welcoming vibe. We gobble it up so no pictures., but you can view other people's posts... Trust me, good value, prices & exceptional care / pride is...

The food is way above average for similar food! It was so fresh and tasty. They give you FREE lentil soup and baklava for dessert. I loved the veggie sampler plate because it came with so much food and the salads and dips were amazing. I loved the baba ghanoush and tabbouleh salad the best and thought it was some of the best I’ve had. My friends got meat plates and I thought the meat was fine but not really that special. However, for the price, it’s incredibly worth it and so much food! We stopped here on a roadtrip and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. We came at lunch time and it was busy. We waited 10-15 mins for a table and service was slow. It was not slow in normal circumstances but it felt very slow since we were trying to leave ASAP.

Ordered the Veggie Platter. Overall very fresh and acidic. Falafel was crisp and warm, but I wish it had a bit more garlic/herb flavor. For the price ($20), I would take another falafel or dolma for less of the sauce dishes (especially the tzatziki). Maybe a better plate for sharing, and ordering another dish a la carte. Portions are good, lots of pita, and I took a box to go with some leftovers. Complimentary lentil soup and baklava are a nice touch. The soup is fantastic, hearty and garlicky. The baklava is light, flaky, and nutty. It's not especially soaked with honey, which I liked. I ended up buying some extra to share at home. Service was very good as well. I would definitely recommend and will for sure be back!

My wife is Lebanese so we try as many Arabic food places as we can find. The free lentil soup was tasty and an unexpected surprise. We tried the kefta and beef kabobs. Both were seasoned well, my wife thought they used too much garlic but she's not a garlic fan. The beef kabobs were much more tender and flavorful, but the kefta was tough and a bit overcooked. Maybe a bit too much sumac on the rice, but a decent meal nonetheless. We'd return to try some other dishes. Our daughter got a free scoop of ice cream for dessert which she enjoyed. The baklava they give you is dry and definitely missing something.
