This is one of my favorite spots in the DMV. I believe this place is family-owned, so it's usually the same 2-3 really kind, calm, and efficient ladies who work here and provide amazing customer service. It's definitely a smaller cafe in terms of seating, but rarely super crowded (although the influx of workers on Fisher's Lane is making it more busy) and has some outdoor seating.
They have a decent variety of cakes, cookies, pastries, and sandwiches that are all very fresh and well-made. The stand out for me is the coffee, which is surprisingly excellent for a place that doesn't specialize in coffee. The espresso is well-pulled, and the steamed milk is smooth and silky.
They don't do drip coffee and instead offer americanos (hot or iced), which are also great and further proof that the espresso is of good quality and not hiding behind cream or flavors. My favorite is their peanut butter latte, which tastes like they've actually added peanut butter to it rather than just using one of the Torani syrups most cafes like...

Sheās incredibly smart and talented in many ways, especially artistically. When she first opened her Bakery CafĆ© in Redondo Beach, California, seven years ago, it was so popular in the area, and I often visited to try her pastries. However, about five years ago, she sold that place, moved to Maryland, and opened Mirabeau here in Rockville. Itās been a long time since Iāve had her pastries, and Iām so happy to have tasted such delicious pastries again. Iām truly touched. š„¹ Rockville, Maryland, is a special place because of Mirabeau. Not just because weāre friends, but I highly recommend Mirabeauās pastries! š Come try their diverse and delicious pastries here...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStaff and location are very nice. You can sit and work while music is decent. Staff is preparing food and beverages very quietly and music is very classical. Perfect for work. Seating is limited but even on a Saturday morning, only a few customers decided to stay here and finding a spot in the window was easy. Prices are what you would expect in our beloved area. It's not overpriced for our standards in the DMV. It's well managed. Drinks will be served in one way paper cups no matter you stay there or you are on the run. Sandwiches are delicious but tend to be a bit pricy given that they lack complexion. However, the ingredients used for their sandwiches seem to have high quality and work perfectly together in their sandwiches. The less is in there, the more the quality of each individual ingredient can be appreciated. It's good and...
