Rosa’s Café & Tortilla Factory is a counter-service spot we really enjoyed. The ordering process is simple, and their menu is easy to navigate. Prices are reasonable, especially considering it’s a casual place with indoor seating and air conditioning—a nice bonus compared to many other counter-service restaurants. The dining area stands out: it’s very clean, colorful, and bright, giving it a more inviting atmosphere than the typical Mexican restaurant. Another highlight is their salsa counter, which offers a variety of options to customize your meal. Their tortillas are made in-house, and you can even watch the process, which adds to the experience. Location-wise, it’s near Costco, so the area can be busy, but parking hasn’t been an issue as there are enough spaces. Restrooms were also clean and well-kept. On the downside, I did have some stomach issues afterwards, which I hope was just an isolated incident since everything else about the visit was positive. Overall: A colorful, clean, and reasonably priced counter-service Mexican café with fresh tortillas and plenty of salsa choices. Worth trying if you’re nearby, though I’ll be cautious on my next visit.

This place used to be great, but has gone WAY downhill. The past couple times we go through the drive through we are spoken to very rudely (they cut you off repeatedly when asking a question or ordering) and they are often rude inside too. But what really got me thinking twice is getting lukewarm food either inside or drive through. To top it off, our last few burritos are wrapped so badly that the outer foil is rolled in with the burrito so that the foil the cook is wrapping with is TOUCHING the beans and cheese inside the burrito, and in my opinion that’s contaminated food. It’s gross. Absolutely disgusting. Just go to taco casa or something. This place is starting to reek. Pics attached of how 2 of our burritos were wrapped. AND THEY WERE COLD. GROSS.

A good option for fast Tex-Mex but with choices for sit down, drive thru or catering. Not real Mexican food but good food. You walk in, go to the register to order and pay. They give you a number to pick up at the pick up counter. You fill up your own drink and get your own toppings at the toppings bar. There are booths, tables and outside tables on a covered patio. They do make fresh flour tortillas and also offer breakfast as well. The breakfast tacos are so good and they offer a platter for large orders. You can also order a dozen fresh tortillas for about $3.50. The inside is brightly colored and festive. A good place for a good, solid meal.

So - I wrote a glowing review of this restaurant - once upon a time. 5 Star!

Then, I noted the decline since my patronage of this establishment.

All from one problem... Service through the drive-through.

This turned into my "go-to" place for breakfast tacos - and despite the cost, found that the proportions and quality of ingredients make it a 4-5 star offering.

The problem is - no matter how much I would break down an order, they would continuously get it wrong.

Simple orders such as"Spicy potato and bean taco - NO CHEESE" turns into a "CHEESE ONLY" Taco - with nothing else.

Or the same for a Potato, bean and cheese burrito - coming with no potatoes...

Ask for Pico De Gallo - and forget to check the bag before driving away - it is not there...

Order more than a couple of tacos - as painful as it may be - everyone of them should be checked visually before pulling away from window (shame to back up the line - but I have had too many bad experiences to do otherwise).

Asking for Cilantro once turned into a hassle - they did not even have it prepared once (and another time - received blackened and slimy cilantro).

The last three times I went there - I arrived home to discover that at least 1 of the 6-10 tacos I typically order - is completely wrong.

This morning (12/17/17) I decided to skip the speaker, go to the window, and discuss the issue before ordering - and explaining that I wanted to make sure it was completely right before leaving.

The lady who identified as an assistant manager, listened in an irritated manner, told me she would come back - after-which - I was greeted by a completely different person who attempted to finish my order (that I had not even began to make yet).

No offer to resolve the issue on the three previously incorrect orders and was otherwise - also irritated.

Otherwise, a good taco (provided they...

Normally I don’t have any issues here, and the food is good. Tonight however, was very frustrating. I ordered two enchilada plates and a couple of other things. One of the enchilada plates I asked to be made with flour tortillas, which I have never had any issues getting done before. I clarified with the drive through person NO LESS than 5 times that these were to be made using FLOUR tortillas. Even at the window when I picked up my food, I clarified and asked if they had been made using flour tortillas. I was assured that they had. Well, I get home, open my plate, and guess what? NO FLOUR TORTILLAS. Corn tortillas. Usually this would just make me disappointed, but with how many times I asked them to be made this way, and being assured that they had been, it makes me pretty dang upset. I spoke with the manager “Percy”. I didn’t even have to tell him what happened before he was apologizing, like he knew they hadn’t been done right before I even said anything. He was very nice and apologetic, and said to tell whatever manager was there when I came back that he said to comp my next order, but is that actually going to happen? Who freaking knows. I guess we’ll see. What’s worse though, is that he is the one that took my dang order!

Anyway. I will be back here BUT you can bet your refried beans that I will be opening my box to make sure they do it right BEFORE I LEAVE THE WINDOW. So sorry to whomever is behind me whenever I’m here, it’s just going to take longer before you...

TACO TUESDAY is a GREAT DEAL, otherwise this place can get a little PRICEY. But for bit less than $6 (ON TUESDAYS ONLY) You get a taco plate that you can eat twice... and if you add on a side of queso (for +$$ & expensive for the sizes) the taco platter comes with a side of 2 HOMEMADE FLOUR TORTILLAS (in addition to the 3 tacos, beans & rice), so you can have a queso appetizer OR use the queso to add to your Tacos ☆IT'S SO GOOD☆.

I USED to be able to get discounted INDIVIDUAL TACOS on Taco Tuesday?? But now either they changed that to only including the platter OR (like I've mentioned anyway) the staff was confused... bc honestly 3 out of 4 times I go there order taker is confused about how to make what I'm asking... And I'm asking for normal Tex-Mex food (burritos, tacos, etc... Its not like I'm trying to order a pizza).

But, AGAIN... if you're going for Tacos then ONLY GO TUESDAYS or it's a really expensive taco! But if you go for other things BE CAREFUL, bc they get VERY VERY CONFUSED when you want to make a custom order!?!

1 more thing- their queso IS good, but not as good as they think it is FOR THE PRICE THEY CHARGE. Taco Cabana has better queso & is 100% easier to customize an order without confusion & tons of add-on $$charges$$. There's just not one close, so I eat Rosa's on Tuesdays every...
