Vicky's Restaurant — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

The menu is extensive! We ordered the avocado burger, the Birria burger, tilapia taco, beer battered fish taco, Asada taco, and a chicken taco, and some chillie.

We went right before they closed, which I don't think is a fair way to judge a restaurant. However, they held their own. The server was patient and nice even though I took forever to decide what I wanted. She gave several suggestions of her favorites and was very kind. There was just so many different options I got decisions paralysis.

Everything was cooked well the burger was tasty. Wish they came with more fries honestly. The fries were solid. The beer battered taco was well made the toppings were good. I liked their salsa too. It was a like habanero salsa.

The only thing Ididnt care for was the chillie. My sister ordered it and I thought was mid at best, definitely not worth $8.95 when the soup of the day is like $4.50.

I was looking for something affordable in the neighborhood and came across Vicky’s. When we walked in, they were playing good music, and the restaurant was very clean with a cozy, homey vibe. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better.

We ordered the cheeseburger with fries and added bacon and a fried egg which was a 10/10! The burger was super juicy and satisfying, and the fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. It also came with a side of chipotle mayo, which was a great touch. We also tried the tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were packed with flavor, the rice tasted homemade and was nice and fluffy, but the standout for me was the beans, so flavorful and served in a tostada bowl that paired perfectly.

I was trying to find a restaurant in Rogers Park, I came up on this restaurant on Clark Street and I read the reviews and it gave five stars or four stars. I don’t remember the food looked that good and burgers made to order. So I went there ordered my food. Vicky was so nice. Suggested this and that the hospitality was awesome. The food was so good. Oh my God, the tacos, the hamburgers, the french fries was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great. All she need is a little music a TV that plays Nature Sounds music whatever and she should have a bowl of mints on her counter. You know for a little something sweet when people leave out you know that was just a suggestion, but I will be back there again...
