This isn't a KFC that I'll be returning to. I'm disappointed to leave a negative review, because I don't believe the problems I've had are directly related to the employees. We frequent this store, and have never had so many problems until recently.
The last three attempts to eat here have been a disappointment. The first was in-store. The building was not clean, the tables were not clean, and it appeared that the employees were very stressed and rushing to fulfill their orders. We ordered togo after seeing how dirty it was, but gave the food the benefit of the doubt... Well, it tasted like it was overcooked in weeks old oil... Gross. The sides were ok, but the mashed potatoes are gravy were cold and the gravy appeared to be separating - the oil sitting on top of it did not reincorporate when stirred.
Second time, we were ordering for a larger crowd. We ordered delivery, which we understand can impact the freshness of the food, but we had the same results as the previous order - it had that weeks-old oil taste, the chicken was obviously held in a warmer for so long that it was tough and dry. Only one biscuit was solid - the rest were broken an falling apart. I would discount that as a delivery problem, but the rest of the food did not appear to have been jostled around as much as the biscuits, so I can only assume they went into the bag in that state.
The last time was Saturday evening. We were exhausted from a long day, and unanimously craved KFC. Immediately pulling in, the drive through attendant said there's a 5 minute wait due to being short handed and behind, with an annoyed undertone. Knowing this isn't the first time we've suspected staffing issues, so we said no problem and ordered a 12 strip basket, three sides, and a bag of Pepsi. We were asked to park after paying, due to the wait time. No problem, that means fresh chicken to most people... Well, the employee who brought our food was less than polite. He was dragging his feet, his pants were scraping under his shoes making that "chchshshsh" sound as he walked, he didn't lift the bag to the window, so I had to lean out and take it from him. We took the food home, only to discover that we received the wrong order. I took the order back, and after explaining to the manager whom was the same person who took my order, that I didn't get a receipt, she remembered and offered to fulfill my order. I asked for a refund instead. While it's being refunded, I heard another employee yelling at the individual who brought my food about not being allowed to take orders in drive through.
I've come to the conclusion that it has to be a staffing and managerial problem. I wouldn't be happy to serve customers after working in that environment, and I certainly can't justify continuing to eat here after seeing how unorganized, unprofessional, and dirty...
Read moreMy husband and I were going through the drive through and my husband heard the person on the speaker being rude to the person in the car in front of us. When it was our turn to approach the speaker box I had a question about something on the menu and my husband ask the question and the rude man said, "Well if you would look at the menu, it's on there". My husband and I let that slide by and continued to place an order feeling rushed by comments from him. But there was no traffic behind us, so we should have been allowed to take at least a few seconds to place an order. Then when my husband placed the order the person said, " Well now that don't come with those TATERS, ye wanted" Making fun of our accent" My husband got quite upset but kept his cool. He pulled around and went inside and ask to speak to the manager and the girl at the register wouldn't even speak to him and acted like she didn't want anything to do with the issue. She walked off. Then another person pointed toward the drive through and low and behold the same man who had so rudely taken our order WAS the manager. I will be writing KFC headquarters about this person. After reading some of the reviews on here I see we are not the only one's who are experiencing harassment from this location. My husband later told me that he recently saw a sign outside that location that said under new management. KFC if this is the best you can give us paying customers, you can keep your...
Read moreI am not one to write negative reviews so the fact that this is needed is very sad. We went up at about 9pm on a Sunday night. No wait at the drive thru. The lady who took our order was very rude screaming at us for us to place our order when we said we needed a minute. We get up to the window and she had an attitude. She asked us to pull up and someone would run the food out. We asked for a receipt first because we wanted to check our total. She said hold on, slammed the drive-through door, and walked away. When she came back, she handed us half a receipt and said the printer didn't print right that's all she could give us. The top half of the receipt with the store information, phone number ; cashier name looked like it had purposely ripped off. We pull up and a second girl brought us our food. ( this girl was nicer than the first one) told us to have a good night. But come to find out before pulling away they forgot our fries. We went back to the window. The second girl ( who ran out our food) she apologized and said she would fix it. She made the fries and ran them out to us. Neither one was wearing name tags but the girl who took our order had dark hair. the second girl had lighter hair and she was wearing a grey nightmare before christmas sweatshirt. We don't stop at kfc very often but after this we won't be stopping at this one. We will go somewhere else where someone wants our business instead of making us feel...
