When I think of a five stars, to me it means I would either proactively tell others to go or it would be top of mind for the desire to return. For those that know me, itโs about the dining experience, so letโs break it down Guest Service - 5 stars for sure. I wish I could remember our servers name but he was AWESOME. Taller, thinner gentlemen with a beard and he was on top of it all. Super friendly and courteous, very accommodating, filled our needs before we asked, prompt, knowledgeable, knew the menu, strong recommendations for us as guests. Would go back just for him as our server. Food Quality - 5 Stars. Had the BBBB and the toasted bun and fresh patty was great. Not too spicy and great flavor. Would have like a little bigger burger but really good. Shouldโve added bacon - that would have sealed the flavor. Wife had the fish tacos and the red fish was a good choice to create a solid flavor and not too flaky. Side of onion rings - get them. Ambiance - 5 Stars. Love the vibe and the live music. We were there early at 5:30 so was easy to get a table and wasnโt sure too loud. Did start to get more noisy by the time we left but probably because of the neighboring tables by us. Wasnโt overbearing. Loved the close feel you could see in the staff. Cleanliness - 4.5 Stars. All was good just would freshen up the bathroom and create a little more character there. I know thatโs my personal pet peeve but nothing alarming by any means. Love the downstairs feel and good his hidden gem. Definitely give it a go. Special shout out to our server....

That's fail #1 _ sorry but your lazy if you can't make your own tortilla chips The steak is completely over priced. The owner, Levi is drunk constantly, and I heard a great story about how he was serving minors alcohol, and hitting on them. Levi sits at the bar most of the night getting drunk off of his own liquor. I have been to this place enough to know exactly what goes on. He has no idea how to count stock and has absolutely know idea how to judge prep for future business. This place will NOT last. There are no cameras, and I also found out there are drugs that were going through the kitchen. If you were smart, you would stay far away. The bar manager lies to the city and tells them their plumbing is good, but there is plumbing in the building that can't be used. Its ridiculous how illegal this place is. Do NOT go here. It is not worth the wait (45 min + for dinner) or the time or MONEY _ a real business wouldn't be so defensive. They would apologize. But unfortunately, your husband is to drunk to understand the concept of a business. If youd perfer me to tell you off in person the next time I eat there I'd be happy to. Make sure Levi isn't to drunk to answer to the customers. What a response. This place will not last, the Wife of the Owner "jessica" just proved my point. -Id love to call, but your business never answers the phone....
ย ย ย Read moreI know someone who works here and the owners tried to take $100 of her tip money because of a walkout. This is illegal!! When she tried to ask for her money back, the owner (Jessica) blew up on her and gave her $50 back "because she's nice." Sorry, I have no patience for employers like this! Who missed that $100 more? The restaurant, or the waitress who works for $3.00 an hour? Makes my blood boil. Boycott this place!!
EDIT: The owner has responded to my review calling it "false." This is likely because they consider the walkout to be the fault of the employee who's tip money was taken. They blame the employee because of a mix-up with money which was either due to The employee not being briefed on the correct protocols or The owner failing to tell the employee how much money was in the receipt book.
Either way, even if this was ENTIRELY the employee's fault, in what other industry is an employee forced to pay for the mistakes they made? That is simply not how it works, Jessica. So shame on you. Shame.
P.S. "jumping on this fad"? Are you referring to the situation with the Oven and Tap? You think employers being called out for stealing their employees' tip money is a...
