The fam and I went to Bentonville and decided to try out Local Lime Rogers for lunch. It was upscale Tex-Mex with a focus on fresh ingredients and craft tacos. The environment was a bit too cantina for me but it was fine. It was super busy and there was a bit of a wait but we didn't really mind. Once we were seated it took a minute for our server to get to us but we were having a great day (Crystal Bridges is AWESOME!) so we didn't mind. Once he took our drink order we ordered a "salsa flight" which was a new thing for me. They had (I believe) 6 salsas to choose from and I picked the standard red, three Chile, and Chipotle (those aren't the exact names). Their chips were clearly cut from fresh tortillas and then fried and were warm and delicious. A bit thicker and crunchier than I prefer but still really good. The salsas on the other hand...well we just weren't super impressed. They looked like they had been made in a food processor set on the "puree" setting. Baby food had better texture. Flavor wise they were ok. I liked the chipotle the best. We also ordered queso which was pretty good but I've had better. When we ordered our meals I just wanted two cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce for my 9 year old and the server seemed very confused and reluctant to find a way to accommodate us (they didn't have an ala carte menu and no enchiladas on the kids menu). There were cheese enchiladas on the main menu but they had a lot of other toppings such as onions and such and I simply asked for those but without any of the toppings or sides. He seemed annoyed and said "it won't be any cheaper than way" and I responded "did I ask if it would be cheaper?". I told him "you should find ways to make things easier...not harder". He didn't like that. He pretty much ignored us the rest of the time we were there unless I flagged him down. Luckily there was another server in the area I recruited to help us who was super helpful. Anyway service was mid but moving on to the entrees! They were all pretty good! I had chorizo tacos that had pineapple and cojita cheese in them and WOW what flavor! My wife had spinach artichoke enchiladas and she loves them. My son had a birria quesadilla and he was happy. The food was a solid 7.5 out of 10. Not the best I've had but definitely good. The bill for 4 meals, 3 drinks, 1 cocktail, 1 salsa flight and 1 queso was $102 before tip. Pretty pricey. All in all we had a good time but it's probably not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again.

Definitely overpriced. Horrible chips...and you must select the salsa...none are complimentary. NOT a romantic atmosphere like Tekilas. Way too bright and classroomish. Forget having regular tacos. What TexMex restaurant doesn't serve ground beef? Drunken beans were just spicy pintos. Otherwise it was black beans in everything...can't eat those nasty things. Not happy with the food selection or the pricing. So much other stuff in the guac that I couldn't find avocado until the bottom. Reasonable chicken quesadillas though, that was the best on the menu in my opinion. They're on the appetizer menu. I really loved the apple crisp, which was my dinner since they had fish or chicken for tacos (which are my go-to Mex food), and I am not eating fish tacos. My grandson liked the fish tacos though he only at 1 of two. My granddaughter liked the chicken tacos. Hubby got the beef ribeye (a waste for the price. All were served like celebrity chef...not hardy but very pretty to look at. My other granddaughter liked the salmon. It was good when I taste tested but it was such a tiny portion for how expensive it was. Maguerita was half the size of same in other restaurants and for a little over from being the same price. Disappointed about that. Mine was a regular one...they also serve pomegranate, strawberry, mango and pineapple margaritas. They had a lot of menu items with black beans and/or mango. We won't go back. If I want Mexican food, I'm heading to Rosita's (they're #1 in NWA in my opinion) or El Pueblo in Bella Vista. Have to give kudos to the best server, Thomas, ever! Five of five for him.

Busy spot at peak times, but nice atmosphere and comfortably decorated. Service was good and prompt. They were having some minor supply issues so limited napkin (paper) and straw supply. Food was good, but some accent sauces on food were overpowering and excessive in portion. I usually like a more unique cuisine and creative twists on dishes. I may have caught them on an off day, enjoyed the carnitas tacos. The ribeye tacos were smothered ina creme sauce that I think would've been wonderful if only a drizzle vs. a pour over. The chicken enchiladas were so-so. Nothing special but not bad. They have very tasty salsas and a variety to choose from. The chips are sliced tortilla wedges which are usually good. This time some of them were cooked short and chewy, but overall, a pleasant stop for an early dinner. Prices are a bit higher then expected, but portions are reasonable. Nearly most items are an extra cost though, such as a little extra salsa for your taco will cost an extra $1.50, so be aware and ask before requesting. The bar menu and atmosphere looks to be popular, and the house margaritas are tasty. Next time I may try the fish tacos which seemed to be ordered at a few tables nearby.

I’ve been here more times than I can count and have always loved the food and service which is why I’m not leaving a lower rating. However, this past week I had an experience that, from a customer service standpoint, was mind blowing. I called in a week in advance of a party and mentioned I had a group of about 10 people I wanted to order food for. They let me place the order right then and pay for It, no problem. The day of my gathering rolls around and I have a family member go pick up the food right before the party (30 min away) and it’s not ready. In fact it’s not even in the system and they tell her they have to make It and charge her again. I called in to ask what was happening...at this point people have been waiting at my house for food for a good while. I was transferred to management and was told “we don’t do ordering ahead.” I asked how my order was taken and paid for if they “don’t do that?” She never fully answered that question and instead kept saying “we don’t do that.” I was also told that if my order was taken It would have been deleted that day and so I will have to pay again. I asked how I was supposed to know that this wasn’t allowed and that my order would be deleted and my party would be without food? I was once again told they don’t let people order ahead. I went in circles with this manager thinking I had missed something...I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why she was arguing with me about how I incorrectly (without my knowledge) placed an order. No communication was ever made that my order wasn’t allowed, would be deleted, or would never be completed. So a more appropriate response by management(???) would have been: 1. A phone call immediately after my order was placed to inform me of the mistake on their employees part 2. “I’m so sorry someone didn’t communicate our standard takeout policy to you. It’s our fault for also not communicating your order would be deleted and you would be without food. Let me make sure it’s being made immediately.” Not only was I made to feel like this was somehow my fault, but I was also told repeatedly “you will pay for this order again” even though my bank statement was still showing I had already paid for It and never reimbursed. I’ve never been in this situation where a restaurant didn’t try to make amends and apologize to the customer for screwing up. After asking if there was anything at all she could do for this situation, she threw in a $20 gift card for my next visit.

Not sure if it’s because they waited over an hour, but my guests loved the food and had nothing but wonderful things to say. So please never change the quality of your food but, for the love of God, please train management to treat customers with a little...
