This was our first-time experiencing Texas de Brazil, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We made reservations online for 5:00 PM (side note, they don’t open until 5:00 PM during the week, so if you try to go in at 4:50 PM, the doors will be locked). We walked in and got a table without a problem. The server does a great job explaining how everything works and a little about the meats. They mentioned that the steaks are cooked at Medium Rare, however they can make accommodations if you would like. The salad bar alone is really good. You do have the option of just getting the Salad Bar. I highly recommend that you don’t go through the Salad Bar first as you will fill up here quickly and not eat as much of the meats they bring around. One note to consider is we came at 5:00 PM right when they opened. I’m not sure if it was a strategy or just a timing thing, but it does feel like the more premium meats (Leg of Lamb, Filet Mignon, Shrimp) didn’t come around until we were almost finished with our meal. It could be that they take longer to cook and with just opening at 5:00, that they weren’t ready. But it felt like we filled up on the Chicken and Sausage options when the more premium meats started coming out. So keep that in mind when planning your visit. I will also mention that the Manager went above and beyond for a couple that was sitting behind us. They had a gluten allergy, and the Manager took the time to walk them through everything that they could and could not have. They even walked over to the salad bar and went item by item showing what would be considered gluten free. This is the kind of service that will have us coming back again.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We went last night for our anniversary dinner, had a reservation at 7:30 and didn’t get seated til 8pm. We finally get to our table and we do not see a waiter for at least 30 minutes to even get our drinks. This was our first time here so we didn’t know what to do. Once our waiter eventually came he didn’t even apologize for forgetting about us for 30 minutes and finally got us water and said he expected someone else to tell us how dining works there…. We finally go up to the salad bar and we both get a lot of different things to try… Everything I got from the salad bar area (minus the salad that they don’t even have to make)was horrible and I could not even fathom how some of this food was that bad. The meat was the only decent thing about this place. The waiter checked on us maybe 2 times which I get because we just had water and it was more self serve so that’s ok but when we were done and wanting to get our check, our waiter disappeared for another 30 minutes. I eventually had to go try and find him so we can get our check and get the hell out. 0/10 I’m going to tell everyone I know to never go here and save their money to go somewhere with better food and service especially for a special occasion. To add, we sat outside (not their fault) which led to many bugs flying around and biting us, making the whole horrible experience even worse. There was also a clear foot print right next to my chair from someone who stepped in food. Not super fun to notice at a place I’m trying to enjoy my food at.

I'm dropping 5 🌟 on the whole operation because the staff has had to deal with a lot the last few days. Let's get into it. The food is dope. If you aren't familiar with the concept, think of it as Dim Sum: Meat Edition. Of you aren't familiar with THAT, maybe this isn't for you. In short, it's buffet-style, but people are walking around with meats on offer. It's a cool idea that is well executed. I like meat (pause) and variety, so I was right at home. There's also an array of desserts to choose from, so save room. Now, onto the bad...it's cold. Hella cold. Dangerously cold. The dining room is cold. The kitchen is cold. They don't even need a walk-in cooler. It's THAT cold. Talking to a few of the staff (try it, you'll get the straight dope) I found out that the heat has been out for days, and the sprinkler system froze, burst, and flooded the place. They had to clean it all up because corporate refuses to close to handle this the right way. This news made me regret stopping in. I was a part of the problem. So the place and the team get a full 5 stars for showing up and showing out, but I really want to give leadership ZERO stars for how they're playing with people's health, safety, and comfort. Both staff and guests. Do me a favor, folks, stop by the grocery store and cook at home for a few days. Let's force these people into doing right by us and the people who make Texas de Brazil hum; the staff. And stop posting negative reviews. They're making the best of a messed up situation. Your date night isn't that import.

This was our first time at Texas de Brazil. We have been to two different Fogo de Chao locations and have had wonderful experiences. The food here was served quickly, warm, and tasted amazing. The greeter was so sweet and polite.

I knocked off stars due to service. Our waitress, I cannot remember her name, asked if we wanted to try the house wine. We politely declined but did ask if they had anything sweet. She gave us a suggestion of their sweetest wine and we asked if it was white or red, she told us it was red. I told her I would love to try a glass of it as I’m not a big drinker or familiar with wine. She then asked, since I liked sweet, if I’d like for her to make it into a sangria for no extra charge. I asked what all was in a sangria ( again, not knowledgeable on most alcoholic drinks ) and she explained what was in it and that she could use the sweet red wine in it. I told her that would be perfect.

She came back about 15 minutes later and set an entire bottle of wine and an entire pitcher on our table. ( It was only us 2 ) she proceeded to pour some of the pitcher ( the sangria ) into my wine glass, then let me know that she accidentally used the wrong wine and left the bottle & the pitcher on the table.

We were slightly confused since I had only asked for a glass and was clear that I wasn’t familiar with any of these drinks.

I stopped her when she walked by again and asked if the entire pitcher was for me. She said yes and that it was okay because I could pour what was left into the wine bottle and take that home with me. I awkwardly said we definitely wouldn’t have ordered an entire pitcher / bottle of something we have never tried and in return she awkwardly said “Oh” and then walked away.

Moral of the story is, we paid an extra $48 for a bottle of wine we didn’t order and didn’t feel the waitress listened very well to when were ordering.

We will definitely be back as we love the atmosphere and the food, but won’t be ordering any more...

So I don't normally do this but my experience was so bad that I had to say something. I set up a reservation here for the evening with my wife and we were extremely excited for this date night because we had such an amazing experience at the Texas de Brazil in Memphis. We did not have the same experience twice. I'm giving this a 2 star review and not a 1 star because the drinks that we did recieve were good, the bartender working on April 10th did a good job. We sat at the bar to order drinks before our reservation was ready and those we made well. We were sat down by the cold bar where we waited at our table for 15-20 minutes without any service. No water, no bread, nobody to check on our experience, nothing...I had to go up to the server station and ask the manager to send a server over. A server soon came, took my wife's drink order, and poured our ONLY glass of water for the entire hour and a half dinner we had. Our server took another 15-20 minutes to bring us that drink and after that our server forgot about us for another 30 minutes. He eventually came back without our second drink order which we canceled and requested a ticket. He dropped the ticket off at the table and then left again...20 minutes later I had to walk up to the front to ask someone to help me check out. The hostess had us walk back into the dining hall where I watched her hand my ticket to the wrong server, then walked across to hand our ticket to the right server, and then our server didn't have the decency to bring the ticket back to the table and apologize. They sent a 3rd server to drop off our ticket and we left. This was very frustrating to see such disorganization and to spend so much on dinner to be ignored all night. Tables around us had a 5 star experience but sadly we did not. I hope that this establishment does better in the future and maybe one day I will give them a...

Not thrilled with this location, we came in for our anniversary dinner and we told the host who printed “celebrating anniversary” on a card for the waitress. The waitress took our drink order and asked if we would like still or sparkling water, we opted for still and were told that it came in a bottle, we were not informed that free tap water was an option. She then asked again if we were celebrating anything and we told her as well. The salad bar was mediocre in comparison to other locations I’ve been to and it was difficult to reach most of the options. I am also gluten free and asked for help navigating the salad bar to avoid anything that wasn’t safe, because the salad bar changes at each location, I was told “I don’t know” and the employee walked away. The bread WAS stated to be gluten free so I ate that as well as clear allergen free vegetables. The meat portions were small, the temperature varied and the gauchos took long lulls coming around. The table was never cleared and it cluttered very quickly, our waitress also handed us drinks in the middle of being served by a gaucho. Overall just very chaotic and not the experience I have had in the past at other Texas De Brazil locations. When it came time for the check, we asked for the bread left on the table to be wrapped up to take with us (because GOOD gluten free bread is a commodity) and we were told that they don’t do that there. I understand meats, but the bread?? We were charged $8.00 for the water and did not get a dessert or champagne for our anniversary, despite confirming twice and having it printed on a card at our table. Why make a big deal of it if you weren’t going to make it special? I love Brazilian Steakhouses and prefer them for special events because every experience I have had has been top tier. It was disappointing that this location did not meet...
