This was our first time at Texas de Brazil. We have been to two different Fogo de Chao locations and have had wonderful experiences. The food here was served quickly, warm, and tasted amazing. The greeter was so sweet and polite.
I knocked off stars due to service. Our waitress, I cannot remember her name, asked if we wanted to try the house wine. We politely declined but did ask if they had anything sweet. She gave us a suggestion of their sweetest wine and we asked if it was white or red, she told us it was red. I told her I would love to try a glass of it as I’m not a big drinker or familiar with wine. She then asked, since I liked sweet, if I’d like for her to make it into a sangria for no extra charge. I asked what all was in a sangria ( again, not knowledgeable on most alcoholic drinks ) and she explained what was in it and that she could use the sweet red wine in it. I told her that would be perfect.
She came back about 15 minutes later and set an entire bottle of wine and an entire pitcher on our table. ( It was only us 2 ) she proceeded to pour some of the pitcher ( the sangria ) into my wine glass, then let me know that she accidentally used the wrong wine and left the bottle & the pitcher on the table.
We were slightly confused since I had only asked for a glass and was clear that I wasn’t familiar with any of these drinks.
I stopped her when she walked by again and asked if the entire pitcher was for me. She said yes and that it was okay because I could pour what was left into the wine bottle and take that home with me. I awkwardly said we definitely wouldn’t have ordered an entire pitcher / bottle of something we have never tried and in return she awkwardly said “Oh” and then walked away.
Moral of the story is, we paid an extra $48 for a bottle of wine we didn’t order and didn’t feel the waitress listened very well to when were ordering.
We will definitely be back as we love the atmosphere and the food, but won’t be ordering any more...

I set up a reservation here for the evening with my wife and we were extremely excited for this date night because we had such an amazing experience at the Texas de Brazil in Memphis. We did not have the same experience twice. I'm giving this a 2 star review and not a 1 star because the drinks that we did recieve were good, the bartender working on April 10th did a good job. We sat at the bar to order drinks before our reservation was ready and those we made well. We were sat down by the cold bar where we waited at our table for 15-20 minutes without any service. No water, no bread, nobody to check on our experience, nothing...I had to go up to the server station and ask the manager to send a server over. A server soon came, took my wife's drink order, and poured our ONLY glass of water for the entire hour and a half dinner we had. Our server took another 15-20 minutes to bring us that drink and after that our server forgot about us for another 30 minutes. He eventually came back without our second drink order which we canceled and requested a ticket. He dropped the ticket off at the table and then left again...20 minutes later I had to walk up to the front to ask someone to help me check out. The hostess had us walk back into the dining hall where I watched her hand my ticket to the wrong server, then walked across to hand our ticket to the right server, and then our server didn't have the decency to bring the ticket back to the table and apologize. They sent a 3rd server to drop off our ticket and we left. This was very frustrating to see such disorganization and to spend so much on dinner to be ignored all night. Tables around us had a 5 star experience but sadly we did not. I hope that this establishment does better in the future and maybe one day I will give them a...
Read moreNot thrilled with this location, we came in for our anniversary dinner and we told the host who printed “celebrating anniversary” on a card for the waitress. The waitress took our drink order and asked if we would like still or sparkling water, we opted for still and were told that it came in a bottle, we were not informed that free tap water was an option. She then asked again if we were celebrating anything and we told her as well. The salad bar was mediocre in comparison to other locations I’ve been to and it was difficult to reach most of the options. I am also gluten free and asked for help navigating the salad bar to avoid anything that wasn’t safe, because the salad bar changes at each location, I was told “I don’t know” and the employee walked away. The bread WAS stated to be gluten free so I ate that as well as clear allergen free vegetables. The meat portions were small, the temperature varied and the gauchos took long lulls coming around. The table was never cleared and it cluttered very quickly, our waitress also handed us drinks in the middle of being served by a gaucho. Overall just very chaotic and not the experience I have had in the past at other Texas De Brazil locations. When it came time for the check, we asked for the bread left on the table to be wrapped up to take with us (because GOOD gluten free bread is a commodity) and we were told that they don’t do that there. I understand meats, but the bread?? We were charged $8.00 for the water and did not get a dessert or champagne for our anniversary, despite confirming twice and having it printed on a card at our table. Why make a big deal of it if you weren’t going to make it special? I love Brazilian Steakhouses and prefer them for special events because every experience I have had has been top tier. It was disappointing that this location did not meet...
