Pei Wei — Restaurant in Romulus

The menu is smaller, which is understandable, but it still feels like they are missing out of a few key dishes. They were also out of a couple selections at the time I was there.

I ordered the Bourbon Chicken with white rice--paying $3 more for fries rice seems expensive--and a water. The chicken itself was good, and a decent portion. However, there was so much bourbon sauce that it completely saturated the rice. I like sauce, but that much sauce?

I was instructed by male manager to put our chairs back up. Why did we even have to take them down in order to sit in the first place??? The girl working said they were still open and she was sweet, but the guys in the back seemed angry that we ordered and were dripping in sweat. For someone to come out and tell us to put our own chairs back up was horrible customer service. I work in restaurants and never leave bad reviews. This was the first. I am surprised they even have 3 stars. I threw my food away. Waste of...

We had our standards low to start since it's airport food but it was not good. The tofu in mine (pictured) was the best part of the 3 meals we got. My son's orange chicken was hard to chew. My rice was a gross texture (like over saturated with a sauce or oil maybe? Not normal- wasn't very good). Very disappointed since we spent $60+ dollars and none of us enjoyed it.

Staff was fine- I wouldn't say bad or unfriendly but also not friendly...
