Turkey sandwich on a big crispy and flaky croissant was amazing! I would have preferred a different cheese and a lot less pepper and a little more avocado but the croissant was heaven! The staff was a mixed bag. The first person I spoke with seemed clueless but the second person who jumped into the rescue was very knowledgeable. It was my first time there and I didn't even notice the coffee until I was leaving. I'm also not sure if I got the discount. I should have kept the receipt. The person who rang me up didn't ask me if I was a Capital One member and I heard another person asking the person they were ringing up if they were so that could be the issue. There were about 4 people working so I was confused why it took so long for the sandwich but I was also pretty hungry. One person said they'd bring it to me but they just called my name out. I went up and the girl said they were still making it and another guy (4th one) said it's right there on the counter. So in total 4 people helped me but none of them were on the same page. I think they really need to know the products, make sure they ask if someone is a member, offer coffee at the front instead of having cold coffee sit on a tray on the side, and have some consistency. They could also use some updates. There should be usb charging available more than on the bottom of the wall away from the tables if you're going to encourage that aspect. The coffee was fantastic even cold. I wish I would have known that before I ate as I probably would have ordered a full one. I'd go back for the nice, private lounge space. For someone who is immunocompromised and uncomfortable dining inside it was a nice opportunity for me. It would be nice if it wasn't so brightly lit in at least one area for those who are sensitive as well as so you can see the laptop and phone as it's a big glare on the screens. Read moreAs a capital one member I was happily surprised to see they still have a cafe in this mall because they offer 50% off all drinks for capital one members. I had been in to this location about a year or so ago and at that time they offered Peet’s coffee and blended beverages. So Last night I went in to get something to get a drink. Come to find out they no longer offer Peet’s coffee or blended beverages. The cashier stated that was only a Peet’s coffee thing. To me that answer didn’t make sense because obviously they offer blended beverages at a lot more coffee shops then just Peet’s coffee. I then decided to order an ice mocha with whip cream and a hot cocoa. Upon finishing up my order she handed me both drinks without lids. Apparently that’s just how they make them. I then asked if she could give me another cup filled with ice and a squirt of vanilla syrup. She said she could not do that because they have a limited number of cups and cannot spare one. I was Very confused about her answer as capital one is a major bank and makes enough money to spare a plastic cup to there valued customers. I then asked if she could just add a squirt of vanilla into my drink. She said she could not do that either and that if I wanted vanilla I should have told her when I purchased the drink because it is apparently a dollar extra. My wife and i came into this location a few days ago and were immediately greeted by the members of capital one team whom are always so kind to us, we then walked up to the cafe portion and as we said hello to the barista behind the counter and were eyeing the menu we got a "what do you want" from bella, after her "extremely courteous" welcome we ordered our drinks. as we watched bella tell another employee to make our drinks she just sat on the counter typing away on her phone. when we received our order it was wrong.. now mistakes happen and i completely understand however, after explaining the issue with our order bella responded by saying "no thats what you got, i can ring you up again" we then obviously said noooo thank you.
