I originally went here to try ice cream ramen, I’m not 100% sure of the name but it does have ice cream in it. I did not end up getting it because we were very scared to try. I went here with my boyfriend and friend. When we first walked in, it seemed busy so we thought it must be good. We had to seat ourselves which was okay, I guess. The decor had some Japanese wordings along the words and some quotes. I like that we can view the people making our ramen which was good. The bathroom was very, very clean and smelled really good. Now, with the food. We all ordered different ramen. Mine was the tonkatsu miso and it was okay. I prefer a very deep flavor ramen and the color was there but it was lacking so much flavor. Also, I ate my pork belly chashu and why was it so cold?! It’s like the meat was just sitting in the fridge and they threw it right on top of the broth. On top of that, the broth wasn’t even piping hot. I was able to just eat it right away which tells me that this place doesn’t feel fresh. I went on to try my boyfriend’s soup which is the Tantan ramen and it was soooo salty. When they say salt based sauce, believe it. It was soo salty. I needed chili to help cut through the salt. I don’t mind salt but the salt was too overpowering in the broth. My friend has the Kara-miso ramen(spicy), she said it was not spicy at all and it was super salty. We also got the sausage to try since it sounded interesting but we were very disappointed in that too. It tastes like a smaller polish sausage just with less salt. If you dip it in the ketchup that they provide, it tastes like a hot dog in a bun. My boyfriend even got extra noodles in his bowls that were free, but his bowl came out smaller than the rest of the table which was weird because he was suppose to have extra noodles. They also offer passports where you can get stamps from all their locations. I’d do it if I liked the places but I do not. Overall, this was not worth $80 at all. I’ve had better ramen from a lot of different places.

Read moreBeen here a couple of times and largest group I've been here with is 4 people. They can easily accommodate 4. There's enough seating but can easily get crowded and have to wait to be seated given the pandemic.
For appetizers, had the chicken karage, agedashi tofu, and edamame. All were okay. The chicken was tender but they do use quite a bit of oil for it and the frying/plating process needs to be tweaked/refined. Sometimes it feels it's a little "soggy". The edamame needs more flavor to it. Definitely room for improvements. The tofu is tough to do and it just doesn't have that crispiness from the deep fried part.
I've had the Miso Ramen and Soy based Tankotsu Ramen. Both the broths were quite rich with flavor. It wasn't overly salty. The portion is size is great and they give the right amount of each ingredient. The egg is still oozing, which is great. The charred-ness on the pork belly chashu is great. Not overly burnt and still tender. Great choice of meat to use. In terms of noodles choices, I prefer their thin noodles. I don't think they make their own noodles but they do a good job in cooking them.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
There is enough parking but it is shared with adjacent businesses.
Overall I would recommend this place and will be coming here again. They also have a frequent customer card (you get a free appetizer after 4 bowls, so you get the free appetizer on your 5th visit)

Read moreWe have been hooked on the food here. Each ramen bowl and appetizer we have tried has been delicious, and really sets the tone of the high quality and heartwarming meals available. The portions are wonderfully filling. Kim chi and curry is perfect as I remember it from Hawaii, and haven't found any other place that hits that close to home. The location is tucked into a very high traffic area, but once inside, you'll never hear it. The place has been clean and well maintained with every visit. Staff are phenomenal and so pleasant. The place is usually busy but not filled, a very comfortable capacity when we visit. Pricing is great, because you are paying a comfortable price for top notch. We are happy with every dollar spent here. We discovered this place several months ago and have been back for dine in or take out nearly every week since. There are a decent amount of Asian cuisine sprinkled through Roseville, and Fukumi ranks up at the top with the best of them. Take-Out & To-Go, Delivery - Everything is packed with care, with your toppings in a container, the soup bases in another. There is no loss in quality, and...
