From the various bagel places I've tried in the surrounding area, this is probably the best. Almost on par with New York City bagels. I tried Noah's bagel near by and it just doesn't compare. For some reason, the Noah's bagel here is much different than the Noah's Bagel in NYC. The Noah's Bagel in NYC is one of my favorites, along with NYC Bagel & Coffee House.
I do believe that the spread options at Noah's bagel is better compared to here but this place gives you just the right amount of spread. I think Noah's gives you a little less. The spreads are fresh and they don't skimp out on the ingredients. For example, if you're getting honey walnut spread, you'll get more than one walnut per bite.
If you ask for half the bagel with one spread and another half of the bagel with a different spread, depending on the worker, you will get both spreads on the same half when cut. It shouldn't be like this but I can see how easily this could happen. Another great thing about this place is they have quite a few options for mini bagels. Great option for kids.
I think the coffee here is better than the one at Noah's. The service here is excellent. There's always a line when I come here in the morning so try to come early, especially with covid restrictions.
Overall I would highly recommend this place and will...
Read moreMmm, there’s really no substitution for a good bagel, and Posh Bagel is pretty darn good. 🥯 The best bagel I’ve ever had? No. But better than most other places in the area!
The shop has a nice vibe, consistent with its name, and is well lit and clean.
They have a good assortment of bagels; all the usual suspects you’d want to see at a bagel joint, as well as some more exotic options if you feel like living on the edge.
They also have a huge assortment of options for you to customize your order. Sinatra would love this place cause they let you do it Your Way.
While I didn’t try any of their cafe drinks, they seemed to have all the expected options, plus if you don’t want a coffee/cafe drink, they have what appeared to be just about every bottled drink you could want to choose from.
The employees didn’t seem enthusiastic or friendly toward the customers, but they were efficient and had my order ready very quickly. My only comment would be that my bagel could hav been toasted slightly more, but I’ll assume that was my fault for not asking for it...
Read moreEvery time I go here they get my food wrong. It is to the point that I no longer want to eat here. They have tried to give me a salmon bagel sandwich which i never ordered before. They also recently gave me a burnt bagel sandwich with the wrong bagel. Their thing is they will remake it.Okay but what about all the time I waste having to drive back. They never have enough staff, so wait times are really high if you order in person. They only have a few people and no system to taking orders and making them. They will take one order and then work on making it. Why not have one person on taking orders and the rest on making. I live 30 mins away so a mistake cost me an hour. I won’t be back. I will find somewhere else for an overpriced burnt bagel sandwich. They hardly give you any meat when I started going to their Folsom location 10 ish years ago the food was a much larger and had way more meat. Over the years they have increased the price and decreased what you get.Overall over priced not worth it...
